"This track is all one take, and what I mean by that is I recorded the MIDI of an improvised piano part and then ran that out to a couple of synths after first passing the note info through some MIDI modifiers in Ableton. I also swapped the back half from a piano to a rhodes, just for fun. It's neat working with MIDI this way, as a creative tool rather than a linear record.

"For the past couple of months I have been experimenting with the mysterious Lyra-8, an 'orgaismic synthesiszer' from @Vlad Kreimer of Soma Lab - and have been very pleasantly surprised at how engaging and exciting it is to play with and explore. Far more than just a drone machine, this is a beautiful instrument which has encouraged me to approach music a bit differently. Check out the video to see what I make of it.

"'Bass Pack' is a collection of 64 Bass Presets for Moog Subsequent 37 and Sub 37.
The soundset is universal, the Basses are suitable for all genres of electronic music, including Techno, House, Trance, Lounge, Downtempo, Funk, Disco, Pop, Acid, Hardcore, IDM, Drum'n'Bass, Breaks, Breakbeat, Trap, Electro, Ambient, Dubstep, EDM, Synth-Pop and others.
The patches cover a variety of Bass tones: mild and aggressive, deep and bright, soft and punchy.

ModWheel is set in all patches, it adds brightness or changes the tone.
Velocity controls volume and brightness.

Patches' volume levels are set close to each other, you won't get sudden volume spikes or drops while switching the timbres.

The presets are uploaded via official Moog Editor/Librarian.
They are stored in:
Mac - /Users/your username/Library/Application Support/Moog Music Inc.
Windows - C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Moog Music Inc\Sub 37\Presets Library\Moog Music

Make sure you are using the latest firmware version.

"The second track from my analogue synthesiser session up Goodwood in the cold of winter. It was really getting dark so I've had to increase the brightness of the video massively. I've also applied some home-made analogue effects as an experiment.
