"Vintage 1986 Akai AX60 VCO 6 Voice Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer that was recently professionally serviced and deep cleaned. It’s in excellent condition, works as it should and plays great. Brace yourself for one of the most futuristic and wild sounding VCO Poly synths of the 80s!

Truly a head of its time design. It has some rare features not available on any other synths such as having PWM on every available waveform, advanced cross mod and filter mod options, multi mode arpeggiator with external sync, multiple split options, 6 voice stacked unison mode and one of the most unique and aggressive filters out of any synth ever made.

This is a really unique sounding synth that is very different than any other synth of its era dispute its familiar appearance. This synth can take you places no other VCO Poly Synth even to this day can go.

It really excels at mean leads, aggressive basses and out there sound effects. It can even get into some sonic spaces typically only possible with fully digital FM synths.

It can sound lush and pretty and get into Juno 60 territory if you want it to as well. It features one of the best built in analog stereo chorus’s I’ve heard on any synth.

Another thing that makes this synth unique is that every slider’s parameter range is much greater than most synths. If a Juno 60’s sliders take you from 0-10, then this can take you from 0-20. Its crazy fast modulation rates and window shattering resonance can take you for one hell of a ride."

"Another old vintage synth that I've had in my studio for some time, but never really had the time to explore it for real, just recorded this while messing around with the buttons and faders of this interesting poly synth, sounds like the perfect synth for pads and strings in the 70s, beautiful synth, I wish it was less bulkier, and had less of a 70s piece of gear (it smells weird after turned on for a few minutes haha)"

"One more analog jam with nice groove at 128 bpm Acid Techno with the RF Modular.
RF Dpvco square wave goes through the RF transistor mixer full saturated and then through SH Vcf using 12db out making the acid lead riff .
The bass is made only with the AD multi vco using the triangle pulse wave and sending an envelope to waveshape it as a filter ! But no filter used for the bass sound .
All drums are analog and mixed through the RF Audio & cv mixer. The hats are made by a modified RD 606 (the sound is now completely different in comparison with the original)
