"The D-50 is a very interesting digital synth that combines PCM samples with Roland's linear arithmatic synthesis method, a style of digital subtractive synthesis. The PCM samples are providing the attack sound and the LAS section will ring out or sustain. In practice some very lovely and complex sounds are easy to achieve with the D-50.

This synth is in great shape and works great with just some minor cosmetic wear from its age, joystick is fully functional. Incudes AC power cable and a Studio Series 'Top 40' sound cartridge."

Pics of the inside below.

According to the listing:

"Rare Chroma Polaris multi-timbral analog synth in near mint condition. Rev 9 firmware with maxed out sequencer memory ( 4 X factory)

The Polaris is a highly under rated synth. It has a vintage analog sound along with the flexible MIDI implementation of a modern synth. This synth was ahead of its time obscured by the digital craze at the time.

"This is a 61 key polyphonic analog synthesizer in excellent condition. This is a true analog synthesizer that uses two analog oscillators per voice, hard and soft synch and more. It features 16 voice polyphony. With this vintage synth there is a huge range of tonal possibilities. There are 72 knobs, 144 buttons, and an assignable ribbon controller for real-time control. This synth will integrate easily into any studio with its total MIDI control and synch, individual voice outputs and several audio inputs. Andromeda is the real thing: A high performance instrument ready for creative control to unleash its vast range of sonic possibilities."

Arturia Pigments and MiniFreak V Synths Layered Together for Maximum Effect!

video upload by Mamotreco

"Layered up some VST synth instances of Arturia Pigments 4 and Minifreak V in Ableton Live for maximum effect. These two takes on the modern digital synth compliment each other when played on a now vintage Technics SX-PX336 digital piano with a hammer action keyboard.

It has to be said that these virtual synths are expressive even when just played on a velocity sensitive only keybed. Enjoy a relaxing synthesizer interlude as we kick off the week.

ESK - Osmose with Digitone or Microwave

video upload by Metunar

"Short Demo with the Expressive E Osmose synthesizer in Midi mode. Not with MPE but with the multi channel setup. No sound from the Osmose, only from the external synth.
I tried different synths (GS Music e7, Tasty Chips GR-1, EMU Virtuoso 2000) together with the Osmose but only with the Elektron Digitone and Waldorf Microwave i got in a short time good results.
Direct recording without mastering.

Nelasma - "Crushed" - Dramatic Orchestral Melodic Techno - Modular Synth Live Jam - DFAM

video upload by Nelasma

"Oh my I did it again this weekend and now I'm coughing around again... sigh... at least its not as bad as three weeks ago... tho I wanna have fun again without getting sick hahaha... A-NY-WAY!

I still managed to get together some kinda orchestral vibe techno jam for you good people! Actually wanted to finally make DFAM the main actor but well.. while playing around I made those sweet stabs on the ensemble oscillator and that inspired me for the rest of the jam.

Like in the last jam I wanted to experiment more with the delay and used some bit crushing algorithm from nautilus. Sounds kinda broken sometimes but fits the vibes and the state of my immune system.

Unto the end I managed to dial in some phase cancellation of the Bassdrum which is normally a no-no for me but well.. It was still ok and since it was clocked it still was kinda rhythmical.

So yeah a little jam with broken sickness vibes haha..
And hopefully I'm back at my 100% soon.

As always raw into OBS, no post processing, intentions and mistakes ;)

Timeline:
00:00 Start/Violin Broken Delay Rise
01:19 Beaaaaaat
01:47 Beat with hats and introducing some more elements
02:32 Giving DFAM some more space and reintroduce the violin
03:11 Break
03:39 Beat with lots of noise haha...
04:00 Letting the hat vibe some more
04:52 Trying some more violin
05:46 Ending it
