"Welcome to my unboxing of the Dreadbox Nymphes Polyphonic synthesizer! This is an exciting release from Dreadbox, known for their high-quality analog synths and effects pedals.

Let's take a look at what's inside the box. As we open it up, we're greeted with the sleek and stylish design of the Nymphes. The synth has a beautiful metal enclosure and its sturdy construction makes it feel like a premium instrument right out of the box.

Moving on to the accessories, we have the MIDI to Din adapter, the USB cable for powering the synth and a quick start guide. The USB cable is a convenient design choice, allowing you to power the Nymphes directly from your computer or USB power supply.

Now, let's get the Nymphes hooked up and see what it can do! As we power it on, we're greeted with a warm and inviting sound. The Nymphes is a 6-voice polyphonic synth with one oscillator a sub oscillator and 2 LFOs, making it capable of creating rich and dynamic sounds with ease. "Just the other day I received a long-awaited parcel from Rostov-on-Don from Evgeny Carlo. This is a fully analog eight-voice synthesizer for a DIY project. Evgeny has invested a lot of time and effort in its creation, for which I am very grateful to him and wish him success in his wonderful work! At the moment, only 6 synthesizers have been made. And tonight we managed to record the first AMBIENT DRONE with its use in a compartment with the VOSKHOD-2 reverb from Universe Zen Audio."

Obviously this is for privileged System Cartesian owners or anyone with a dual function generator, a source of uncertainty, a vco and a vca. So get your TTA/Buchla 200T series out. You don't need a sequencer.
Why not try something like this on the Tape & Microsound and use QPAS as a VCA! It will work too and you'll get amazing results with a cool Morphagene reel. Maybe even a single cycle wavetable reel. Go visit uncharted space and (don't) get lost."

"GForce Software's latest instrument update is for the Minimonsta making it now at version 2. It follows the new features first seen in the OB-E V2 and then the Oddity V3 - namely an improved audio engine, re-sizable UI, four macro controls, new preset browser and a vintage control for dialling in more wonkiness.

The Minimonsta2 is a Minimoog Model D at it's heart with the familiar panel but obviously also is polyphonic. GForce also include the XLFO and XADSR - two fully assignable modulation sources, though with as many instances as you’ll likely to need that can be mapped to most variable parameters on a one to one basis.

You also get an additional 300 presets.

At present the Minimonsta2 is available at a reduced price of £49 (+VAT) from £99 - which makes if a pretty affordable deal, given that it's a fairly simple to navigate interface and is capable of a wide variety of sounds - from monster basses to lovely atmospheric pads."
