Crumar Roadrunner/2

video upload by zack dagoba

"Some noodles on the Crumar Roadrunner Mk2. I love the built-in chorus on this thing - it's very late-70s sounding (I think the Roadrunner/2 was introduced in 1976, according to the service manual). It also has a really creamy bass sound with its own output, so you can bypass the chorus (which I think sounds more like a phaser) and send it to its own channel on your mixer. These demos have a bit of Yamaha REV-7 hall reverb for good measure"

Patching the Stereo Prismatic Oscillator XPO

video upload by PanicGirlVids

"I recently had the chance to try out the new XPO Stereo Prismatic Oscillator by Make Noise and I was playing with the sound in the stereo field a lot. I also used two envelope generators for both outputs that I used from the XPO to bring even more movement into this pretty simple patch. And finally I couldn't resist to bring some nice crunch into it by incorporating the Tyme Sefari 16-bit Looper & Sampler by The Harvestman.

What interesting patches did you come up with the XPO so far?
Let me know in the comments :)

Thanks so much for watching!"

"A set of six JN800 filter/vca chips for the Roland Juno 106 synthesizer.

These are manufactured exclusively at Synth Restore, in Bedford, UK.
All chips are supplied ready and inserted into a low profile socket.
Fully assembled, simply de-solder the old chips, and replace with the new ones.
The chips are bigger than the originals - because they use standard sized components, which means they are easy to service, and not a throwaway product. Also, it allows potential of incorporating them into a custom modular or keyboard synthesizer setup.

Check out audio demo's here: synthrestore.com/jn800.html"

"Beautiful CEM-based synthesis in a rack, with lot of possible edition. Upgraded to Maad OS v1.3. Rack ears are ok, slightly bent but will fit perfectly in a rack."

Yamaha CS 5 Jam

"My first Yamaha vintage synthesizer, a Yamaha CS5. An easy and pleasant synthesizer to play with and sounds super cool. This synthesizer should be more appreciated, what do you think?"
