My buddy Seth did an unplanned phone capture of my performance last Sunday. It was the DFW Synth Headz Synthe Summer joined by MOTS.DFW at The Creatives Factory. We didn't get direct audio, so I dubbed one of my rehearsal sessions recorded direct with no additional mastering. My first time playing!

This appears to be the first post to feature the Rhythm Generator. Watford also made a Mark 1 drum machine mentioend in RHYTHM MACHINES - The Rise And Fall Of the Presets - by Alex Graham.

"Vintage Watford Electronics Rhythm Generator 1970s Drum Beats Machine Rare.

Built as a kit from Watford electronics parts with the UK magazine practical wireless. Basic unit but it's pretty rare. The exterior case is a little marked, the maker appears to have used it as a soldering iron rest 🤦🏻‍♀️ Would probably benefit from power and output leads / plug being rewired replaced, but it's been tested as working as far as using a pair of headphones goes with it. All the beats were heard through them and tempo/ volume change etc."

The New Yamaha TX81z Bass Patches

"The TX81z is best known for the "Lately Bass" bass patch, so this is a demo of the new punchy and fat bass patches. Of course there are many other great patches in the TX81z banks, the "Deep Space" pad ends the video.. Many of the sounds were inspired from patches from the SY99. The patches go far beyond the "canned" samples sound of the ROMplers of the period.
