Recreating the Roland SH-5 with Eurorack, in a NiftyKEYZ

"While doing the demo for System80's 810, I put the production version and a prototype I had for a while in a NiftyKEYZ with a few other modules, and I instantly felt like when I had the chance to use a vintage Roland SH-5. So here is a video with me trying to match that insane beast with a eurorack system."

VIVALDI - Summer Part 2 on SIX Arp ODYSSEYS

"Summer Part 2 (side B?) is great. Lovely melody. Nice and slow. There's a musical term for that tempo. Al Dente I think.
Added a little more filth from the Odysseys here. There's a nice fuzzy / crackly sound you can get from sending white noise from the sample & hold section to the filter. I chucked some of that on and a bit more white noise on the noisey bits.
As before. I grabbed hold of the score, whittled it down into 6 tracks for the Odysseys and programmed the MIDI into Ableton. Well, 5 tracks really. The Odyssey FS on it's side is doing the Doof.
Ableton is spitting out MIDI to the six Odysseys here over USB and I'm fidgeting around with them and recording the audio back into Ableton. I added a bit of Reverb and EQ from Ableton and there you have it. Filmed on my iPhone.
Boom! So Part 3 is up next and that's a flippin' doozie! Giddyup!!"

"Up for grabs is a very rare special edition Oberheim TVP w/OG box. This is from the extremely limited lottery run Tom did in 2021 when he got the Oberheim brand name back. Only 4 units were made in the lottery."
According to this prior listing, from the same seller no less, 10 units were made. If anyone knows definitively, feel free to comment. Update: the number is officially 9 units total. See this post.

Synth Color Tracking With Musikraken & AugenX

"Experimenting with the recently added color distance tracking in #musikraken app, which determines the relative distance between two tracked objects, optionally in both x and y position. I’m using it here controlling #augenx synth app for triggering and modulating synth parameters. Tracking is done with an iPhoneSE acting as external midi BLE device, sending the created midi data to a nearby iPad running AugenX."

"I call this song 'Project #7', inspired by some Sci-fi shows that I like.
Instruments used:
- Korg Kronos: drum and bass on tracks 1 & 2
- Moog One: the pad sound on track 3
- Prophet 5: all other sounds on tracks 4, 5, 6 and 7
Only tracks 1 & 2 processed by a Drawmer DL-241, all other tracks have no compressor and no EQ.
Effects are only the Roland Space Echo RE-201 and the Chorus Echo RE-501 for all tracks except 1 & 2.
Track 8 is the SMPTE signal but is unused.
The Fostex R8 is a lovely tape machine..."
