New G-STORM ELECTRO SEMSVF Eurorack Tribute Adaptation Oberheim SEM Filter

SEMSVF is my Eurorack Tribute adaptation to the Oberheim SEM State Variable Filter. All hand made in limited quantities. Today I am auditioning some sounds via a pair of my 101-VCOs feeding in. I use a Happy Nerding FX Aid for some delay at times, no other mastering or effects. Headphones or good monitors recommended but watch your levels, aggressive resonance and lovely saturation ahead. Recorded direct via my Influx mixer to Pittsburgh Modular Outs to Mackie mixer to Tascam DR-05.

Vostok Instruments - Sena & Patching Panda - Punch MG

"Here is quick patch with the all new Punch MG by Patching Panda. As sound source we use all four outputs of Sena - the quad-VCO by Vostok Instruments patched into the four VCAs of Punch MG. Sena is tuned to a chord and transposed by a single CV. Throw some triggers at Punch MG and let the fun begin.

The four voices coming from Punch MG are mixed into a stereo signal that is processed by the Doepfer A-121s Stereo Multimode filter. This was quite fun to play! 🕺🎉🙌"

Ensoniq Fizmo Transwave Digital Synthesizer 1998 // restored by VS&C

"The Fizmo (1998) uses a Digital Acoustic simulation Transwave with 4 MB of ROM, up to four voices per preset, each voice with two oscillators, independent LFOs and FX: 48 voices maximum, with three separate fx units (24-bit VLSI effects with 41 algorithms) built in for further sound sculpting. "The Zeroscillator is a full-featured electronic-music-quality analog VCO capable of linear frequency modulation through zero hertz and into negative frequencies. This makes it capable of the FM Synthesis stuff, wild and crazy sounds simply not available from traditional VCOs, and timbres not available from digital FM synthesizers. Of course, Zeroscillators also make insane LFOs!

This was the first available Through Zero Oscillator, Vince Clark says, it's the best Modular Oscillator (check Youtube). The best you can get for Tone in your Modular Synthesizer.

The Module is very big, you need to use a deep case like the Doepfer Cases."

Side Note: I was on the wait list for a Zeroscillator like everyone else in the day. When mine was available I asked Cynthia to give it to the next person on the list and save me for last. I never did end up getting one.
