"By request, I’m posting a free sample pack of recordings from the Intellivoice Voice Synthesis Module, including a simple Kontakt instrument that plays back these files.

Years ago, I made a synth using an arduino and a chip from an Intellivoice. Recently, I went into the closet and dug it out, and, following a couple repairs, recorded some samples for folks that are interested.

Why? Games and gaming hardware are mass-produced devices with planned obsolescence and few serviceable parts. By "hacking" and customizing gaming hardware we regain personal ownership of these devices, and we can turn obsolete equipment into performable, expressive instruments."

Godwin Drummaker 45 Computer System - All Rhythm Presets - Italian Classic Drum Machine

"A short video demonstrating the preset drum rhythms from the fantastic Italian Godwin Drummaker 45 Drum Machine from the late 1970s.

This fully analog machine has some of the nicest sounding drum sounds going. Punchy, deep, clear, hypnotic sounds. With excellent rhythm patterns to go along with them.

Each of the preset rhythm patterns cycle through three rhythm variations.

This machine also has a fantastic chord / bass / three voice arpeggiator, which can be played with a foot pedal controller or mini keyboard (like a three note poly synth) and choosing combinations of voices and patterns to go along with the rhythms can create a huge number of variations. The accompaniment side of the machine is not demonstrated in this video. I hope to show it in a subsequent video."

Made in Italy, late 1970s.

Very nice machine. Fully analog sound generation. Chords can be played using the bass foot pedals or small keyboard, both of which were available as an option when new.

"Here's a really nice sounding and fully serviced original Octave The Cat SRM monosynth. The SRM model is the more desirable of the two Cat models since it has the SSM2040 filter chip in it. (Sequential Prophet Rev-2, Korg Polysix)

This CAT has been completely restored just over 3 months ago and modded so that when you let go of the second note in dual mode there is a function that allows you to adjust if the second note holds or not."
