Moog DFAM: Modular Grooves Patches/Patterns. No Talk Demo
video upload by Anton Anru
"The new Moog DFAM soundset has been highly requested by my subscribers. The first bank, «Techno Generator», received many positive feedbacks over the past few years.
«Modular Grooves» is a collection of 50 patches + patterns: 17 Percs/Drums, 16 Basses, 17 Synths. It is dedicated to the modular vibe, loved for its analog warm sound, experimental attitude, rich opportunities, unique features and tones, and inspirational workflow.
π¦ Get the soundset: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/dfam...
π The presets feature various colors: noisy, detuned, distorted, as well as mild, clean, soft, punchy, dark, bright, deep, and airy.
Some timbres are great to play the first role in tracks or jams, while others will work perfectly as additional parts.
You may use the patches as they are, but I strongly recommend tweaking the knobs to develop the timbre during your performance and get an exciting experience.
πThe soundset is presented in the form of PDF-Document. Each page contains notes that explain how the patch works, what parameters are worth tweaking during playback, and how to develop the timbre during a performance. If you make all the settings consciously and try the things mentioned in the notes, you will learn a lot about the synth and discover its true depth.
π§ There are audio examples of all patches inside the folder with the soundset.
To recreate these patches you need up to 3 patch cords.
π½ The soundset also includes 24/41000 WAV samples, accompanied by BPM and scale information. You can use them as they are, or you're free to resample, edit, and apply effects. These samples offer a versatile material for your experimentation.
π You are listening to demo tracks featuring these presets. I've added other samples, drums and pads, to create a complete musical context. The DFAM sequences can be quite complex, producing various timbres at once, like bass and percussion. To help you distinguish, I've marked the DFAM and ADDITIONAL SOUNDS with different colors.
These ADDITIONAL SOUNDS are not included in the soundset.

"A less common, dual osc monophonic gem from Korg. A very cool and flexible little synth. Has the awesome filter ('traveler') from the earlier 700 as well as the “audio in” of the MS-20. This one‘s in great shape and just got a round of maintenance from our in-house techs so is working perfectly."

One of my favorite tracks from the 80s.
Everything She Wants by Wham!
Written by George Michael (1984)
Featured the Roland Juno-106 (1984), the Roland SH-101 (1981), the PPG wave 2.2 and the Simmons SDS-8 e-drum system
This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.
My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers."
Lyra-8 Masterclass | Because we ain't no dummies.
video upload by Cinematic Laborat
"I wanted to share what I learned about Lyra-8, but I am no master. It's a bit pretentious to even call this a Masterclass, but I don't consider my audience as 'dummies' either. I guess the only true master out there is Vlad Kreimer, and I bet he's still learning Lyra-8.
It's a design, designed to escape the designer. It will play along for a while, but at some point it will just be impossible to control. Once you realize this, you're on your way becoming a master. You would not even try to control it and just enjoy where it takes you. So in a twisted way, Lyra-8 isn't hard to play, it's hard to accept it as it is. If you manage to master this, playing Lyra-8 is easy.
I truly enjoyed making this video, for myself and for you. I hope it will help, and I hope you'll enjoy it too. This video is dedicated to Eric, who is outthere somewhere waiting for the moment when I finally have some time on Zoom.

"A bit of unwanted saturation here and there, because the Echolette is pretty sensitive to certain signals, but I decided to leave it as it is."
