using its midi track to control M:C is a very decent workflow."
Background Modulars No.4 - Moog Modular
video upload by Memetune Studio
"Can't find a vintage Moog Modular 3C system to create a self-generating patch on? No worries! Just put this video on in the background (in full-screen mode), and have the next best thing 😁
This patch uses 10 VCOs, 3 VCAs, 4 envelopes, 1 filter, 2 sequencers, a VC Delay, a noise going through the Fixed Filter Bank, some sub-mixers, a slew and a stereo Matrix Mixer to create a slowly evolving, slightly haunting ambient tone poem"
"Ghostly Halo" - Chilled Trip Hop
video upload by Electronisounds Audio
"'There are events afoot in the skies above us... There is a major solar eclipse on Monday: total in North America, partial in Europe. Also, the comet Pons-Brooks is at its closest to the Sun at the moment. This comet is also known as The Devil Comet!
What could it all mean? Do these celestial happenings herald the end of the world? Do you find spiritual rebirth and joy in the re-emergence of the sun from the darkness of an eclipse? Why does a comet have horns like a devil?
There are so may different ways in which you can take inspiration from the solar shenanigans; make us a jam which might be full of ominous foreboding, or joyful excitement, or cosmic wonder. Or a tune to pacify the devil as he gets off the comet for a look around your studio? Most importantly, have fun making your music!"
Whatever kind of music you are making - KEEP IT UP, Friends!
Don't stop making *YOUR MUSIC*!!

Yamaha MDF1 / very unsexy, but such a useful tool back in the day
video upload by Espen Kraft
"A necessary tool back in the day. A storage device that could hold all my sequences, patches and other sysex data. Going out to a gig I relied on the Yamaha MDF1 to load back my sequences from my Alesis MMT-8. The latter did not have a build in floppy drive, as was the case with most sequencers at the lower end of the price range, hence the need for external storage devices.
After selling my MDF1 (or was it trashed? I can't remember...) in the early 90s, I've been looking for one again. To expand my collection of Yamaha sequencer stuff from that time. I don't NEED this today, but it's fun to look back and realize that the muscle memory (to use it) is still there after 35 years. Barely.
A big thanks to Chris from CPmagnetic media for sending me this one with one of his Quick Disk emulators installed. Check out his stuff here: https://www.ebay.com/str/cpmagneticmedia"

"This unit is the US Version and is in very good condition and full working order. It sounds great! There are minor scratches on the sides and bottom, as shown in the photos, but the main faceplate of the synth is in great condition with only small blemishes. The left wood end-plate has some discoloration, as also shown in the photos.
Due to the slow refresh rate of the alpha-numeric displays on this synth, some of the later photos in this listing did not capture all of the text, as my camera's shutter speed caught the screens mid-refresh. However, this is just an artifact of the camera image, and the earlier photos in the listing show that all of the displays are working properly despite their age."
