The Wavetable synthesizer references the iconic sounds and technology of classic wavetable synthesis from the 1980s, notably drawing inspiration from the Waldorf Microwave and PPG Wave. It combines traditional wavetable synthesis, analog and digital filters with contemporary digital enhancements."

AS3394: exponential versus linear filter modulation:

"The AS3394 (Curtis 3394 clone) synth-on-a-chip has a linear filter modulation that is somewhat unique. The chip's triangle output from the VCO can be routed to filter modulation in a linear manner. At maximum modulation the filter cutoff will go from close to very to about 2x the unmodulated frequency. Comparatively, exponential modulation tends to increase the pitch."

"Here's the Modor NF-1 after I've had a chance to work my way around it. I really don't like the first 20 minutes of this, but I started working my way into a new patch at about half-way through. I'll try to mark the spot, but basically, I suddenly found myself in a new territory of sound. I didn't realize just how well the NF-1 could do organic sounds and seem like it's got physical modeling.

Hope you enjoy. Eventide Blackhole VST used for reverb, all other FX were generated within the Modor.

"Created by Roger Linn and employed by artists from Prince to New Order and beyond, the LinnDrum has become one of the most expensive vintage drum machines on the used market. Luckily, our friends at Synth City at Rock n Roll Vintage in Chicago had a mint condition LinnDrum they were willing to let us borrow. So, we took it over to Narwhal Studios, threw some pedals on it and recorded it into a Neve console. How do you think it sounds?"
