One of my favorite tracks from the early 80s.
That`s Good by the american new wave band Devo from the their fifth studio album Oh, No! It`s Devo (1982)
Featured the Moog Minimoog (1978), the Oberheim OB-X (1979) and the Simmons SDS-8 drum brain
This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.
My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers."

Synapse Legend HZ: Dark Cinematic Retro Ambient Presets Demo
video upload by Anton Anru
"Synapse Audio Legend HZ 'Neo-Noir Echoes' is a collection of 50 patches: 7 Arps, 6 Basses, 6 Keys, 7 Leads, 6 Pads, 6 Strings, 6 Synths, 6 Textures.
The soundset is inspired by sci-fi movies, soundtracks, dystopian stories, urban landscapes, noise ambient albums, experimental modern art and sound design.

The bank spans a broad spectrum of timbres: dark, noisy, lo-fi, retro, romantic, melancholic, nostalgic, soundscapes, atmospheric, detuned, cold, distant, dull, big, massive, epic, bright, orchestral, distorted, metallic, tense, atonal, non-harmonic, fx-like, evolving, moving, sweeping.
Since Legend HZ is a replica of an old analog synthesizer, I aimed to highlight the vintage, imperfect, slightly distorted character of the sound.
I used oscillators drift, saturation, and distortion in different blocks of the plugin, used noise as a sound source and as a modulation source, and used FM modulation, which can significantly distort the tone. And of course, the famous Filter Bank - it can noticeably add color to the sound.
The soundset is suitable for many genres: ambient, electronica, cinematic, retrowave, synthwave, darkwave, IDM, trip-hop, lounge, downtempo, pop, chill out, new age, trance, deep, progressive, techno, breaks, jungle, drum and bass, dub and others.
Ensure that you are using the latest software version.
To add presets to the collection, open the plugin browser, click Menu in the upper left corner, then select Import Folder, and specify the folder on your computer."

"With this set up, you'll have all the power of 3ea s1100s that integrate perfectly with each other! that's three times the polyphony, three times the outputs and 3 ea fx dsp boards and 3 times the fun. the expander is a full s1100 sampler just without an interface , but the rest of the internals are identical .
features expanded memory cards in both the main unit and expanders (when powered on it reads Mwords installed)
needs new backlight or new display"

According to the listing:
"This one came from a friends studio who is a member of the group: Public Service Broadcast.
It has all been tested in the studio and sounds glorious. PSB made some slight mods on the rear of the unit.
Collection would be from Oxford Circus"

CMOS HI-HAT + WHITE NOISE / making a drum machine EP 4
video upload by LAURI’S DIY CHANNEL TV

"This is the bigger brother of the XOR cowbell! It has 6 oscillators going through 4 XOR gates, making the sound more complex and inharmonic, perfect for metallic sounds like hihats and cymbals. The next video is going to be about the high pass filters i'm using a lot in the video! They help a lot with this circuit, making the sound way more usable as a hi-hat. I'll put the video out in a week or two!

Mono Lancet ’15 - Acid Bassline
video upload by vermonagear
00:00 - Intro
00:07 - Just Mono Lancet ’15
00:47 - Distortions from Filter Lancet
"Can Mono Lancet '15 do an acid bass line? Let's find out with this video.
The first half of the video is Mono Lancet '15 without any effects. In the second half we used Filter Lancet to add distortion. We didn't use any other effects.
The Mono Lancet '15 is sequenced in LogicPro.
We only used the first oscillator, set to sawtooth. Glide is set to AUTOGLIDE, which means that it is only activated on overlapping notes (legato) in the sequence. During the performance, we play with the CUTOFF, RESONANCE and EG INT controls on the filter section, as well as the DECAY and RELEASE knobs on the envelope generator."
