video upload by SPHERICAL SOUND SOCIETY
"Wintermute receives a new firmware update, 1.2.6
This one is more polyphonic and melodic. It has longer decays and some differences in the way you play it. The Y pot is used this time to adjust the amount of longer decays.
Currently Wintermute has 6 firmwares to choose from and new ones that will be publishing. All free for Wintermute customers.
If you have an ONO-SENDAI and wants to get the pack of Wintermute firmwares send us a message to get it as a digital download. It costs 30€ and you get also the future WM updates that will be appearing.
You can get one Wintermute here: https://www.tindie.com/products/jc204..."

"***In the shape of an accordion (and the bellows act as volume control) but actually a dedicated tube monosynth.*** This amazing instrument (probably from the early 60s, but originally designed in the 50s) has been recently serviced and should be in good working order. Imported about 11 years ago from Japan, where it looks like it had sat in a shop unsold for decades. To get an idea of its potential, check out Hainbach's great video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h08NFqon0es .
It's also in stunningly good cosmetic condition - even the case (very modernistic for the 60s) is beautiful. It comes with its essential original Hohner power supply - now converted to operating at 240V with a UK plug. The original Japanese transformer is included if you want to revert to a lower voltage (with proper tech support!)."

"Variophon Gig with keyboard and wind controller (ex-Talk Talk). This superlative instrument was used on every Talk Talk album (except the very first one) [see this post]. This actual example - written provenance included.
Hugely expressive, and probably the best trumpet and oboe facsimile ever made. This example includes the Tuba, Oboe, Clarinet, Trombone, Trumpet and Saxophone modules.
The problem with these instruments is that, now nearly half a century old, the adhesive on the diaphragm has ossified. So it probably plays it's own tunes, to some extent. Couple of broken knobs, but still turnable. The mains plug has been removed. Definitely needing expert servicing - but a hugely worthwhile project. Packing at VEMIA: 24GBP."
