Exploring New Scales with Midicake ARP

"In this video, I'll take you through my process of building classical music using the Midicake ARP and explore the new scales coming in the v7 firmware update. I'll show how different scales can dramatically affect the mood and atmosphere of the music, starting with more upbeat and vibrant tones, then transitioning to a more relaxed, almost soporific sound by the end.

"Included is the original manual and Shalebridge V1.45f OS. This synth is in great shape for it's age. Has new upgraded screen which is super easy to read, very bright and legible from all angles (looks even better in person, the pictures don’t do it justice). Everything is working except unfortunately Wave A sound is distorted. The distortion is coming from U441 (CEM 5510). This chip is obsolete and we have not been able to source any replacement options. So we are currently listing this for sale as-is, no warranties, guarantees, refunds or returns due to this issue. If we manage to source a replacement, we will revise the listing and raise the price. It's currently offered at a discounted price."

"We paid our tech for the 3 hours of time it took to replace all 6 original pots with brand new ones so they would respond better than the old original ones. This is of course reflected in its price. Tested and working well and sounding great. If it doesn't sell, we're going to keep it and use it in our studio."

"This unit's electronics have been meticulously overhauled and important future-proofing measures were taken in an effort to significantly extend its life. This is time consuming and expensive skilled work that took more than 25 hours to complete, but this work's resulted in a Linndrum that works perfectly and should hopefully outlast all others.
In addition to any necessary repairs, here's a summary of the work done to this unit (I probably left something out):
Lots of capacitors replaced as a preventative measure
Power supply / battery board fully rebuilt
Installed new 10k trimpot for power PCB
Batteries replaced
Memory tested
All sliders and rotary pots cleaned
All switch pads removed, disassembled, cleaned and adjusted
Unit cleaned inside and out
34 molex terminals replaced
Replaced 10p molex x3
Cleaned fuse holder and fuse
Burn in test and multiple additional systematic tests passed"
