Minichord - A Tiny DIY Omnichord With a Big Sound
video upload by HAINBACH
"I love the Omnichord, so when I was asked to give feedback on the prototype of the Minichord, an instrument very much inspired by it, I could not say no. Spoiler: its a fantastic little synthesizer that goes beyond what was and is possible with its venerable Japanese ancestors."
Behringer Spice 50 Modular Patches, Seqs, Samples Sound Demo
video upload by Anton Anru
"'Undertones' is a collection of 50 patches for the semi-modular synthesizer Behringer Spice: chords, sequences, basses, leads, plucks, drones, percussion, and FXs.
📀 The presets feature various colors: warm, clean, soft, deep as well as punchy, dark, bright, noisy, detuned, and distorted.
📦 Get these patches: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/spic...
🗄 All patches are divided into three groups: SEQ (32 patches), KBD (10 patches), and TRG (8 patches).
SEQ patches use the Spice sequencer with an internal or external clock. This group contains melodic patterns, chords, and bass lines. The play button is on.
KBD patches are designed for use with an external sequencer/arpeggiator, DAW, or MIDI keyboard. This group includes leads, plucks, chords, and drones. The play button is off.
TRG patches use the Spice sequencer, but sound is only heard when the TRIGGER button is pressed. These patches don’t trigger envelopes for each step (EG button is off), so envelopes must be launched manually. This group contains FXs and experimental timbres. The play button is on.

BUTTERS (pre-lit version) / a subtractive synth jam / having a go at Berlin School sequencing
video upload by BRiES
"I had a go at what I think is the 'Berlin School' of sequencing a patch. Did I miss the point entirely or is this considered canon in the Berlin School lore?"

Mutable (ST)RINGS | Modular Composing | Open Sequencing
video upload by Cinematic Laboratory
"I guess it's much cheaper to find new use to existing modules instead of getting more modules that don't really add anything new. We all know Mutable Rings, it's our modular guitar. So how about trying to play it like a guitar? In this video, I'll use a static arp, like the strings on a guitar, tuned to whatever you like (like Fripp's New Standard Tuning) and then move the individual notes around like a fretboard. It's like a note-by-note transpose. Do you know any sequencer that can do this? Sure! Five12 Vector has chance operations and subsequencers. Westlicht has note ranges and you can use Track B to transpose track A. But you can't transpose the indivual notes in an ARP with their own subsequences. I've been working on this idea because it's a cool addition to our stochastic generative dice controlled compositions. I'd like to all it 'open sequencing' as a tribute to 'open composers' from the 50's and 60's. People like John Cage and Hans Otte, but also people like Robert Fripp (tuning of fifths) and Hans Zimmer (double harmonic dune scale).
It's even cooler to use a module that allows you to build what doesn't exist yet, lke Monome Teletype. I wrote a script you can load in your module, but Teletype is also part of the VCV free module collection. I bet you'd never use it without some help. So here's a script you can cut, paste in a .TXT and load it into the 'active script' of Teletype."

"SOLAR 42f is a unique experimental electro-music instrument, an analogue microtonal ambient drone machine. It will inspire you to find a new and spontaneous approach to composing music.
The instrument is oriented for live performances, creating film soundtracks, theatre soundtracks, atmospheric sounds, microtonal and background music. The instrument was inspired by early electronic musical instruments of the 1920s and 1950s, notably Leo Theremin's «Harmonium» instrument, as well as science fiction film soundtracks."
