"Because I'm stubborn and silly, I made a 'stand-in' to try to get better focus when recording video of myself. It's silly because I have decent auto-focus lenses and my cameras have good face tracking BUT my most expensive lenses are manual only cinema lenses that aren't well suited for doing solo operator work in front of the camera, but because I think they are cool and I invested a lot of money in them I insist on using them, even when it's not practical! 🙄😆

The music here is from beta test I did last year for a new Synthesis Technology E430 VCF that is now in production. "

It's an eight-voice programmable analog synthesizer with a full 61-note keyboard and a series of techno-looking LCD bar-graph displays running across the top of the keyboard. Two analog oscillators per voice plus a sub oscillator provide the basis of its punchy analog sounds that can be described as similar to a Chroma Polaris or Roland Juno 106."

"This is the latest track of my current ambient drone series, created with Soma Lyra-8, Elektron Digitakt and Strymon Big Sky. I wanted to create a mood that sounds different than the usual Lyra stuff and not like a typical drone. I felt like I need something else in my liveset and here we go - Digitakt adds a simple pad sound to the rhythmic pattern of the Lyra. 'Modulation' is also the title track of my upcoming performance."
