NEW 2025 Optigan Disc - BIG BEAT & POLYRIMBA
video upload by optigandotcom
"https://www.quilterlabs.com/collectio...
BIG BEAT is the latest in our series of excavatons into the Optigan Archives in search of material that was left on the cutting room floor. The working title for this disc was “Motown 1 - Big Beat.” Previously only heard on the song “How Do You Feel?” by Optiganally Yours. The keyboard sound is also sourced from the Optigan Archives- we mixed several different solo trombone and trumpet scales to form a brass section. A version of this sound previously appeared on our Orchestron "Brass Ensemble" disc.
Special note: This groove was recorded at a slower tempo than usual, so turn your Optigan's Tempo knob down to achieve concert pitch."
NEW 2025 Panoptigon Disc - POLYRIMBA
video upload by optigandotcom
"Now available at https://www.quilterlabs.com/collectio...
POLYRIMBA is based on the 5-against-3 polyrhythm. The basic sound is the classic DX7 Marimba preset. Individual notes are steady pulses with accents in counts of 5 or 3. Holding down chords creates an ever-shifting series of syncopated rhythmic patterns. If you count these in 4/4, you'll perceive longer rhythmic cycles that won't repeat for 15 bars. Adding delay will create even more complex patterns. Also, try it with the Panoptigon’s hall reverb turned up, and the main volume knob turned all the way down, to get an interesting ambient pad sound.
POLYRIMBA can only be played on Panoptigon, and is not compatible with Optigan or Orchestron.
Conceived, arranged, and mastered by Pea Hicks
Disc design and mastering by Robert Becker
Jacket label art direction and layout by Michael Buchmiller
Important Note:
All discs are subject to the following licensing arrangement.

Life’s a Blip! // Biyiblip // Blippulator
video upload by NOISEBUG
"The Blippulator is now available at Nosiebug
https://www.noisebug.net/products/biy...
Meet blippulator, the quirky offspring of Rob Hordijk’s legendary designs, blending the heart of a Blippoo Box with the chaotic energy of a Benjolin.
Born from the mind of Hordijk's sonic explorations and further refined by Biyi, Blippulator takes everything we love about these classics and adds a fresh twist.
At its core, blippulator features extensive CV control, letting you dial in and modulate key parameters like the pitch of its two oscillators and the cutoff frequencies of its dual resonant filters. These aren’t just any filters—they’ve got that twin-peak magic that Hordijk fans will instantly recognise, adding a complex, organic edge to your sound.
One of blippulator’s coolest tricks? You can select any two arbitrary signals to create a custom PWM waveform, adding a layer of flexibility and unpredictability to your patches. Whether you’re controlling it from a Eurorack system or another external device, the 0-5V CV inputs and outputs make it a breeze to integrate into your setup. The panel is user-friendly, making it easy to get hands-on with your sound and improvise live.
And just when you think you’ve got it figured out, blippulator’s got a few secret weapons up its sleeve to keep things interesting in your performances. It’s a powerful tribute to Rob Hordijk’s genius, honouring his designs while pushing them in new directions, making it a must-have for anyone who loves modular synthesis and sonic exploration.
Blippulator is more than a synthesizer—it's a celebration of the past and the future of sound design, with a nod to one of the most innovative minds in the field. Plug in, experiment, and let it take your performances to the next level"

Sequentix Cirklon 2, Minimoog, Prophet 12, SX-240, Nord Drum 2 IDM electronic track
video upload by MIDERA
"I've been trying to see what sequencers to keep. Obviously the Spectralis stays, but I kept running into roadblocks with the Cirklon so it was something I needed to write a track with. I did the same with the Squarp Pyramid, but I got stuck working through it. I'm starting to get the hang of the Cirklon though. Although it does often take a few extra button presses to do things I think should be easy, I've figured out other ways to do what I want too. I'll try again with the Pyramid, but most likely that one will be going away.
Sequentix Cirklon 2 - sequencing
Moog Minimoog - bass
DSI Prophet 12 - bell/synth tone
Kawai SX-240 - pads
Clavia Nord Drum 2 - drums

Beat w/ CyDrums, OP-1 field, Prophet-10, Grandmother | Find a card 2025-04-06 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created using @SONICWARE CyDrums, @teenageengineering OP-1 field, @SequentialLLC Prophet-10, and @MoogSynthesizers Grandmother, featuring synth tones that shift under filters and effects over a beat.
CyDrums is controlled by MIDI from the DAW. A filter is used as the master effect, and the master output is processed with reverb and delay via @gfisys SPECULAR TEMPUS.
On the OP-1 field, I play with changing sounds, and its output is routed through the @ChaseBlissAudio MOOD MK II to alter pitch.
The Prophet-10 receives harmony parts via MIDI from the DAW, while I manually adjust the filter and resonance.
The Grandmother handles the bassline, with its filter cutoff manipulated by hand.
The chorus vocals are produced using Kasane Teto SV."
Dystopian Ambient Wavetable Synth Jam via the Midicake Arp and Fred's Lab Töörö

video upload by Bay Mud
"I managed to get my hands on a second-hand Töörö, which seems to pair very well with the Midicake Arp. 4 synth parts for 4 arpeggiators! Midicake also recently released V8 of the Arp firmware, so there are some fun new tricks to show off
Disclaimer: while Midicake did send me the Arp, they didn't ask me to do this video. I'm just doing this for fun, as these two work well together"
