RX-17 Looped Beats, Glitched Teto Vocals & Piano Layers | Parabolic Path 2025-11-24 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"The @YamahaSynthsOfficial RX-17 is connected to the @KORG_INC NTS-3, where its beats are shaped and altered using the looper while they play.
On the @teenageengineering OP-1 field, sampled vocals of Kasane Teto are processed through the @ChaseBlissAudio MOOD MKII, adding glitch textures as the phrases loop.
The piano parts are performed on the MOTIF-RACK ES, then recorded and edited to create the final melodic layers."

80s YAMAHA Rhythm Machine RX17 & Kasane Teto sampled OP-1 field | Resolve 2025-11-11 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"This piece was created using the @teenageengineering OP-1 field, @NordKeyboards Nord Lead, @YamahaSynthsOfficial RX17, MU15, and MOTIF-RACK ES. It combines rhythm machine beats, melodies made from sampled vocals of 重音テト Kasane Teto SV, and live bass performance.
On the OP-1 field, the sampler contains Kasane Teto’s voice, which is used to create melodic phrases. At certain points, looping is applied through the NTS-3, and the signal is processed with the @ChaseBlissAudio MOOD MKII.
The RX17 rhythm machine is recorded with an ALESIS 3630 compressor applied.
On the MU15, synth sounds are performed using its built-in keyboard, with reverb added via the blueSky.
The Nord Lead plays melodic parts in the middle section of the piece, processed through the @gfisys Specular Tempus for delay.
The bass is recorded through a SANSAMP Bass Driver DI, routed directly into the audio interface for a clean yet warm tone."

Eventide Harmonizer Model H949 SN A949-2872
Note: links to listings are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
video upload by ultralightbeam
"delay, flange, random processing on the H949 of a drum sample, a famous drum break"
Eventide H949 vocal demonstration
video upload by ultralightbeam
"Demonstration of an Eventide H949, fully serviced, of sale and the pitch control you have over audio."
via this Reverb listing
Pics of the inside below.
"This is fully serviced. All power supply large filter caps replaced, the ground connection from the molex a known failure mode has been tied permanently.
For H910 mode hit the 'algo' button and it will remove the 'deglitch'.
Memory chips, brand new, changed to ones that only run on 5v rail and not three different rails, they run much cooler, also when something goes wrong they don't get cooked. The early DRAMS used by eventide, those that were available were failure prone - the Personal Computer revolution quickly led to better DRAMS - which are deployed in this unit.
Electrolytic caps, tested, replaced for low ESR - top quality the best available
Better quality ceramic capacitors around DRAMS to drop noise floor to the lowest possible. They are mil-spec about £3.50 each for a tiny component and there are 10 of them.
Ripple checked for lowest noise performance possible
Tantalum where there should be tantalum - again the best.
Heatsink compound applied
A lot of the character of this unit comes from two factors; one the early digital use of memory chips to store the audio delay line with ultra fast bit slicing AMD bipolar processing chips and two the DBX companding (x3) - these really resolve the noise associated with early digital and improve signal to noise."

Beat w/ CyDrums, OP-1 field, Prophet-10, Grandmother | Find a card 2025-04-06 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created using @SONICWARE CyDrums, @teenageengineering OP-1 field, @SequentialLLC Prophet-10, and @MoogSynthesizers Grandmother, featuring synth tones that shift under filters and effects over a beat.
CyDrums is controlled by MIDI from the DAW. A filter is used as the master effect, and the master output is processed with reverb and delay via @gfisys SPECULAR TEMPUS.
On the OP-1 field, I play with changing sounds, and its output is routed through the @ChaseBlissAudio MOOD MK II to alter pitch.
The Prophet-10 receives harmony parts via MIDI from the DAW, while I manually adjust the filter and resonance.
The Grandmother handles the bassline, with its filter cutoff manipulated by hand.
The chorus vocals are produced using Kasane Teto SV."

#404day Roland SP-404MKII | Awakening 2025-04-04 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created using the @rolandglobal SP-404MKII, @SequentialLLC Prophet-10, and @MoogSynthesizers Grandmother. Swirling synth lines, guitar, and Kasane Teto’s chorus resonate within the beat.
The rhythm is triggered by controlling the SP-404MKII via MIDI from a DAW. SBF is assigned as the SP-404’s master effect, and the output is routed through the @KORG_INC NTS-3, which provides a looper effect.
The Prophet-10 plays a repeating harmony, with its filter effect added later in the DAW.
On the Grandmother, I perform the bassline.
The guitar is recorded through a SANSAMP BASS DRIVER, then distorted in Ableton Live using overdrive.
Thank you for watching and happy 404day!"

Beat w/ OP-1 field, nord lead, Prophet-10, Moog One | No Clouds 2025-02-18 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created using the @SequentialLLC Prophet-10, @MoogSynthesizers Moog One, @NordKeyboards Nord Lead, and @teenageengineering OP-1 field. Modal harmonies are layered over a standard beat.
On the Moog One, I play the bass using a combination of MIDI control and live performance.
The Nord Lead produces modal harmonies, controlled via MIDI with manual filter adjustments on the hardware.
On the Prophet-10, I perform synth strings-like sounds by playing live, occasionally using modulation and pitch bend.
The beat on the OP-1 field is triggered via MIDI, with occasional use of its built-in filter effect (NITRO) and reverb from @strymon NIGHTSKY.
The chorus vocals use Kasane Teto(重音テト)."

The Newest Member of the Moog Family
Spectravox, the newest member of the Moog semi-modular family, is a groundbreaking tool for sculpting sound. An analog spectral processor based around a 10-band filter bank, Spectravox creates lively drones and colorful tonal sweeps on its own and adds resonant depth and psychedelic spectral movement to any external sound. Hook up a microphone and Spectravox becomes a 10-band analog vocoder with innovative integrated modulation of all of its filters. An exploration and expansion of the topology of the vocoder and filter bank, Spectravox is a highly flexible instrument and signal processor with a comprehensive patch bay for integration into studios of all sizes.
A Groundbreaking Tool for Scultpting Sound
Synthesists have delighted in playing with the spectrum of sound since the Moog 907 Fixed Filter Bank appeared in the 1960s, creating lush vowel tones and multicolored timbral animation with hands-on level control of each frequency band of a sound. Unlike earlier fixed filter banks, however, the unique filters of Spectravox are no longer fixed in place and will jointly shift around the frequency space, allowing for the creation of otherworldly voltage-controlled spectral animation and vibrant phaser-like sweeps. With 10 filters whose variable resonance can morph from soft precision to shimmering choral effects, Spectravox reshapes the sounds you love into surprising new forms and brings a new world of sonic possibilities to your studio.
10-Band Analog Vocoder
Spectravox is a fascinating standalone sculptable synthesizer voice thanks to its built-in carrier sound source of a thick analog Moog oscillator and white noise generator. With its combo XLR/jack program input, Spectravox becomes a fully featured 10-band vocoder with a secondary filter bank for analyzing the spectral makeup of incoming sounds. In VOCODER mode its 10 analysis filters map the timbral characteristics of any external sound onto any other sound you can imagine. Shape the warm analog oscillator of Spectravox with the dynamics of your voice, or use a drum machine to animate guitar chords in a mesmerizing broadband percussive space.
Electronic Instruments for the Musician
Spectravox uses the pioneering vocoding work of Bob Moog and Wendy Carlos in the late 1960s as its inspiration—work which was based on Homer Dudley's original designs from the 1930s and which was used to prominent effect in Stanley Kubrick's 1972 film A Clockwork Orange. Innovating further from these early designs, Spectravox uses 10 state-variable filters for its filter bank, all 10 of which are capable of being shifted with its internal triangle wave LFO or external control voltage. With the ability to emphasize vowel sounds via the Hiss and Buzz functionality of the Moog 16 Channel Vocoder, Spectravox is both a major step forward for analog filter banks and a loving exploration of early music technology history.
Scramble the Frequency Spectrum
Scramble the frequency spectrum and create wonderfully unpredictable textures with patch points for each filter in the filter bank and included patch cables. Add analog warmth and subtle phasing to digital synthesizers and sound sources. Integrate Spectravox with other Moog semi-modular instruments or Eurorack modules with an extensive patch bay providing control over almost all of its parameters. Spectravox is a boundary-pushing instrument that invites you to explore creative new ways of shaping and sculpting sound.
