"The sampler has been completely refurbished. The casing has been painted black. All tact switches have been replaced, the old LCD with a new LED and pad sensors. Additionally, I have installed the Gotek FDD emulator (32GB Sandisk pendrive included), the latest Vimana 3.15B OS, max RAM memory and multivoltage power supply. This means that it does not need step up or step down converters to work! The voltage switches automatically depending on the place in the world. It accepts AC voltage from 65 to 265V. This is probably the only such version in the world. I was going to replace the LCD window, as it has a few scratches, but I'll leave that to the new owner. The glass is available on eBay, and replacement is easy (double-sided tape). Insured shipment."

"Akai S-612 (US model, including voltage converter). It was serviced just last year (faders were cleaned) and works perfectly. It has two additional special features:
1. The XD-280 Disk Emulator, which can be used to run an HxC Gotek floppy disk emulator (this one with an OLED and rotary encoder). A USB stick with a sound library is included.
2. The FDM Filter Defeat Module. The blue button on the front left next to the display allows you to deactivate the anti-aliasing filter in various ways. This can make the S-612 sound like an E-MU SP1200, with a very crunchy sound."

Teenage Engineering K.O. II KNOCK OUT - How about a FMT and start from scratch?
video upload by Cinematic Laboratory
"The Teenage Engineering is an affordable sampler with 64 MB of memory. In this video I'd like to focus on sampling found sounds, noise boxes and small modular setups. I'll start by formatting the internal memory (FMT) which is a great way to really get to know the KO II without going through all features first. This is not a tutorial. If you want to learn how it works, please visit @SONWU and check out his series which also includes the firmware update.
It's a great machine to stay away from the DAW but also a good 'brain' for sequencing external gear with MIDI, and for turning modular mono sounds into pads and textures. Another cool trick is to sample a chord under each pad, so you can play all kinds of complicated chord progressions with one finger."

GAME BOY, OP-1 field, MOOD MK II | Pull 2025-04-22 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created with a Nintendo Game Boy (with LSDj) and OP‑1 field—electronica built from a Game Boy melody, soft‑synth harmonies, and a rhythm driven into delay feedback.
Game Boy: Sequenced in LSDj and processed through the MOOD MK II.
OP‑1 field: Plays the rhythm, which is fed back using the CWO effect.
Harmony: Generated with @SpectrasonicsVIDEO Omnisphere running in @Ableton Live; the track is sent out through an audio interface, processed with @strymon NIGHTSKY, and re‑recorded."
