"Buchla 219 Controller. Today's 'what if' -- exploring three different sound objects or textures with three individual pressure outputs to three LPGs."

Post-Superbooth with ORIGAMI

video upload by LARIX ELEKTRO

"Back from Superbooth 2025 Berlin !

I didn't have the time to test the Origami oscillator. Because the last prototype was done just before... ...so I went to the superbooth without knowing how the module sounded !

After 3 days of trying it, here some of the many sounds it can produce.
Redone in the studio.
(More to come, of course)

Enjoy

(Ok, I'm adding FX, just to put the sound in context)"

End (Dirtywave M8 Tracker + TEO-5)

video upload by The Way Up

"Managed to snag a TEO-5 just in the nick of time before tariffs hit and it jumped in price. I've been eyeing it for a while - I love that lush Oberheim sound, and it's amazing for synthwave, ambient, and dark wave sounds. All synths here were from the TEO-5, sampled and edited a bit on the M8. Threw a bit of ozone on at the end."

Huge #ambient pad on the #oberheim TEO-5 #synth

video upload by The Way Up

"I'm still wrapping my head around sound design on this synth, but I love it! It's capable of such lush, organic sounds, and it sounds absolutely huge. This is straight out of the TEO-5 through onboard effects - no external processing whatsoever."

video upload by Hispasonic

"In this video from Superbooth 2025, Chris Calcutt from Novation presents the latest news from the brand. He highlights the launch of the new Launch Control XL MK3, a MIDI controller with 24 encoders, 8 faders and 16 programmable buttons. This new version includes a display that allows easy visualization of what is being controlled, as well as MIDI output for use with external hardware.

Launch Control XL v3 offers advanced integration with DAWs such as Ableton Live, Logic and Cubase, allowing script-level control. The Launch Control XL v3 is expected to hit stores during the summer of 2025.

From Moog to Teenage Engineering OP-XY: A Messenger-Inspired Jam

video upload by Lo-fi Pask

"Inspired by the announcement of the new Moog Messenger, I set out to craft a track using my Teenage Engineering OP-XY, built entirely from Moog synthesizer samples.
Analog soul meets digital precision — warm, vintage tones reimagined through a cutting-edge portable synth.

This entire piece was composed on a moving train, using the Obscura 76 sound pack — a collection packed with dark textures, retro character, and the unmistakable vibe of classic Moog gears.
The result is a cinematic, introspective soundscape that blends ambient music, experimental electronica, and the freedom of mobile music production.

🎧 Best experienced with headphones."
