GND-1T Circuit Bent Speech Chip Synthesizer FACTORY SOUNDS VOL2 - more control, more mayhem

video upload by GND-1

"This demo steps through the patches of the new Vol.2 Factory sound bank for the GND-1T, which can be downloaded from its website. This new bank makes extensive use of the many new features added to the GND-1 since its introduction last year. They are too many to list here, so to find out more please check the GND-1T website: https://richardvanhoesel.com/gnd1t

The demo only has time to play each patch for a short time, but in a more typical / musical context, each patch can be given much more time to develop its full dynamic potential and tonal variations. This bank also includes a few 'keyboard patches' at the top of the bank, which aren't included in this demo.

As usual, everything you hear in these demos is a direct stereo stream recorded from the GND-1T, without any additional processing or effects."

Sqsl Nashville // Midi Chord Generator App // Review & Walkthrough // iPad and M1 Mac

video upload by Gavinski’s Tutorials

"My walkthrough and review of sqsl Nashville, a MIDI controller app for iPad and M1 or higher Macs, for exploring harmonies, modes, and chord progressions within heptatonic scales. Very clever, as usual from this dev, but also with some limitations, which I discuss in the video."

Moog Messenger Presets for Ambient, Electronica and Techno: Caterpillar Sound Pack (Demo)

video upload by Limbic Bits

"In this video, we're exploring the Moog Messenger — a compact, all-analog monophonic synth that brings a modern, expressive twist to the classic Moog sound. With two variable-waveshape oscillators (including wavefolding, sync, and FM), a sub-oscillator, and noise generator, it covers everything from fat, vintage basses to sharp, experimental textures.

video upload by Nightlife Electronics

"Join us for a live demo and Q&A with Modern Biology showing off the brand new Instruo Pocket Scion.

Pocket SCÍON is a portable device that captures biofeedback data sourced from contact with living organisms. This data is used by the onboard sound engine to generate evolving soundscapes and a range of MIDI messages. Firmware COSMOSPR1.61.smf — SOMA COSMOS

video upload by VG-Line

"Loaded with COSMOSPR1.61.smf – a rhythmic firmware variation where the DRIVE knob controls pitch instead of saturation. From normal speed down to half speed (–1 octave), with lo-fi artifacts and unexpected textures."

NINA Patterns by Protovolt: Analog Motorized Poly Synth by Melbourne Instruments

video upload by Melbourne Instruments

"Synth lord Protovolt has created a bank of patterns for NINA's Multi-Track Sequencer. Protovolt's Pattern Bank will take you to a cyborg sci-fi thriller in which you are evading a deranged robot, drawing inspiration from the great exploitation movies of the 1980s. With a contemporary twist, each of these patterns has all the sound characteristics of vintage analog synths. Set your coordinates to the future, grab your protective gear and motorcycle helmet, and get ready for a wild ride! All sounds and patterns in this video were created solely using NINA.

Grab the Protovolt NINA Pattern Bank here: https://www.melbourneinstruments.com/...

Knobcon 2025 Live Performances

video uploads by The Breathalyzer (Shawn Johnson Music)

A few Knobcon performances spotted and sent my way via Musical Miscellany (Poorness Studios).

Playlist: 1. Knobcon 2025 - Welcome Reception Set
Shortly after my arrival/check-in, I was asked if I could do a live set to open the Welcome Reception (the first live performances that open the annual Knobcon synth event). Just when you thought it was safe to go outside...in the big tent. Sorry for the bad camera work, everything was last minute, I didn't even have all the cabling I needed with me, lol. thanks to Brian Kupferschmid for the thumbnail photo
2. The Entire Robot Knobcon 2025 Welcome Reception (2:14)
Love Jeremy's soloing
3. The Entire Robot Knobcon Welcome Reception (3 minutes of blissful funk)
YEAH, MAN!
4. Chris Kuborn Afternoon Abstract Knobcon 2025
sorry for the obstruction there, here's Chris' complete performance (room audio). My room microphone was probably a little close, so the steel drum has a lot of presence.
5. TotoRobyn (Robyn Alman) Knobcon 2025 Afternoon Abstract
Live set from the Chill Out room at Knobcon
6. Brian Kupferschmid Afternoon Abstract Knobcon 2025
Very cool atmospheric/ambient guitar set from Brian.
7. Caro Arroba Knobcon 2025 Chill Out Room Set

8. Synsor (Steve McQuarry) Live at Knobcon 2025 Chill Out Room Set
The room audio was captured on a separate device, so it might not be syncrhonized with the video. The video freezes towards the end...low battery got me.
