Additional SYNTH CITY Listings
"The Sequential Multitrak (released in 1985) is a six-voice analog synthesizer notable for combining true analog sound with early digital control.
Each voice has a CEM3394 synth-on-a-chip, offering a single oscillator, sub-oscillator, noise source, and resonant low-pass filter. It was one of the first affordable synths to feature a built-in sequencer and MIDI implementation, making it popular for both studio and live use.
The Multitrak’s panel and parameter editing system allowed deep sound design, though programming could be a bit tedious. Its warm, punchy tone and distinctive Sequential character make it a cult favorite among vintage synth enthusiasts today.
This one works like a charm and has that analog warmth you've been looking for in a polysynth. One button has been replaced on the "to tape" cassette loading feature. Includes original power supply."

"Original SCI Pro-One with MTG Turbo MIDI kit installed!
Cosmetically, it's seen better days, but sonically - it works. Has been stored for two years and some key contacts needed playing after that time. It's time for a new home where it's appreciated!
The instrument was serviced in 2023 by the legendary Greg Montalbano of Analog Synth Service in Oakland.
Cleaned, tuned & scaled. Assessment: MTG MIDI unit works, but the CV option was incorrectly soldered, and the DAC for the optional CVs doesn't work. Upgraded fixed power cord to removable IEC power socket"

"M-Audio Venom Purple Beta Tester Version As far as I know there was only one other of these made in this color. [only two other listings were previously posted here. You'll also find a post on Venom creator Taiho Yamahda's blog. Taiho is now with Sequential.] The production units where white with orange and black lettering. I was one of the beta testers and sound programmers for this synth. Since this was a beta tester model the Midi was not fully functional when I received it. We did all of updates thru the USB however so don't know for sure if there was a change to the hardware or it just needs a firmware upgrade. Was just going to buy another production model and swap out the motherboard but never got around to it. It has all of my factory program contributions in bank C. While it requires using the editor from either a Mac or PC to program it completely it has a broad range of possible sounds. It is a very fat sounding synth."

"MINT CONDITION (see images), AS IF YOU RECEIVED IT FROM THE SHOP IN 2019!
This is the legendary Cwejman S1 MK II synthesizer, unused in box. I received this in 2019 after ordering ist sometime mid 2010s ... and due to different life circumstances never used it as when I received it I just had moved and no space for my Eurorack system.
As a result, this unique synthesizer is like a time capsule, it was safely stored in my office in its original packaging in a cupboard and is in mint condition (refer to images)."

"Just serviced by the very talented Vintage Standards in Japan October 2025. In my opinion top 3 techs in the world. PSU replaced, every pot disassembled cleaned and re lubricated, crucial caps replaced, tropical fish caps still in perfect condition, brand new Tauntek CPU board installed to keep it reliable for much longer than the original and expanding its memory to 64, uses through hole and modern components for longevity and serviceability. Crucial trimmers replaced to keep tuning and voltage stable. Keyboard cleaned and bushings replaced. Literally everything you need to do to these to keep them going for another 50 years reliably. This is the early SEM version that uses the same discrete VCA as the SEM instead of the chip based version most of them have which is more like the OB-X, love the way these SEM envelopes react. Sound is incredible and it's so awesome having instant preset recall on a SEM and a great interface to control it. These will only go up in value and im only selling because I recently obtained an TVS and its a bit over kill to have both (although awesome having a 3 voice). Selling at a loss already so please be considerate if making an offer."

Synthesizing with Moog | Lesson 5: Modulation
video upload by Moog Music
Synthesizing with Moog
"Composer Morton Subotnick once said that the sonic palette of a synthesizer is determined not by the number of components it contains but the ways in which they can modulate each other. Modulation allows us to take static sounds and add movement to them – to create expressive motion like vibrato and tremolo, or to create new and novel textures. In this lesson we explore the basics of modulation, using Low Frequency Oscillators (LFOs) and envelopes to modulate pitch, timbre, and amplitude, and harnessing the power of randomness to add unpredictable elements to our sounds.
Written, hosted, filmed, and produced by our team of electronic musical instrument experts, this new seven-part educational video series makes learning the fundamentals of synthesis accessible, engaging, and inspiring for anyone curious about science, music, and how the two worlds converge. We set out to create a series that brings you as much technical knowledge as it does entertainment and joy as you watch each episode!
We invite you to follow along with us at home with a printable worksheet corresponding to the contents of each weekly episode. https://inmusic.to/bdhnff3m

Korg Triton Extreme VST Plugin (Korg Collection 6) - No talking demo
video upload by ADL-MusicLab
"Hi, everyone!
The original Korg Triton first appeared in 1999 and then the TRITON Extreme appeared in 2004 as the most powerful model in the series, featuring the first-ever "Valve Force" vacuum tubes in a music workstation, and most of the new PCM and EXB-PCM series waveforms.
This plug-in faithfully reproduces the HI (Hyper Integrated) synthesis system down to the smallest details and contains every one of the vast number of preset programs.
You can have again the sound that defined an era, with a very faithful software emulation that can bring this classic synthesizer "back to the future". This software really replicates the Korg Triton Extreme down to the last details and in this "No talking demo" I just mess around with some beautiful presets.
Grab it! You won't be disappointed.
