Trilling Introduces Passaggio Digitally Generated VCO Eurorack Module
via Trilling where you'll find a demo.
"A digitally generated VCO featuring:
Dynamic 2D waveform control, providing continuous access to all core wave shapes and extended variations. Controllable via front-panel controls and bipolar CV inputs with built-in attenuverters.
Unique alternating cycle-length patterns, creating clean yet harmonically rich distortion by varying individual cycle lengths while keeping the overall period stable.
Standard 1 V/oct pitch input, an adjustable fine-tuning section, and a true hard-sync input for precise, musically stable synchronization.
Optional MIDI input via a dedicated extension module (coming soon)."
VCS3 sequence processed with Synthi Hi-FLi
video upload by Digitana Electronics
"A basic sequence being played on a VCS3 and processed with one of the re-release Synthi Hi-FLi's which has been modded to add hi level audio input and also external cv control of phase shifting. Some delay is also added.
The sequence has to be 'punchy' enough to trigger the attack/decay detector on the Hi-FLi (which a plucked guitar string would normally achieve). I am not using the external cv control of the phase shifting in this demo..just slow sine wave modulation selection. Treble boost has a huge effect on the sound as does sub octave. Fuzz tends to soften things."
Antonus Step Brother DIY - Test Drive w/ A2600, SR-909 and Fractal VP4
video upload by Tumeni Knobs
"It took a couple of months, spending a few hours on weekends, but I got it done! And it's very cool. This demo is pretty rough, but highlights a bunch of the key features of the Step Brother and the "performability" it offers.
See my full build log here: https://www.modwiggler.com/forum/view...
In this setup, the Steda SR-909 is sending midi clock to the Step Brother and the VP4 to keep them in sync. Step Brother is configured to run 2x8 step sequences on channels A and B. Channel A quantized CV output is sent to the 2600 mult and then routed to the CV inputs of oscillators 1 and 2. Channel B quantized CV output is sent to the CV input of oscillator 3.
Step Brother Gate Bus 1 is routed to the 2600 main gate input and triggering the 2600's ADSR envelope. SB Gate Bus 2 is triggering the envelope on the Step Brother and audio out of Osc 3 on the 2600 is routed to one of the VCAs on the Step Brother which is controlled by the Step Brother's envelope. That is then routed back to the 2600's mixer.
Audio out of the 2600 is routed to the VP4, and then routed to the ALA Bartender along with the audio of the SR-909. Output from the Bartender is sent to the iRig Pro and recorded on iPhone with the video.
Cheers!"

"With Sky Barstow on the NES we went beyond the bonus stage and possibly too far into the gain stage in this bleating mess of roms and and thick muddy bass. #Nintendoentertainmentsystem #rolandp6 #op1 #depushengmixer"
First try at making music for FM synthesis
video upload by MIDI IN
"I'm very happy that Ed Brindley has made this FM sound module for the RC2014 and similar computers. This is the technology used in early PC soundcards and synthesisers like the DX1000. This is my first go at tracking music for this sound card. I used Furnace Tracker, exported to .vgm and ran Ed's music player to play it. You're hearing the capture from the new sound card.

Craig Barnes Jupiter 8 editor/assigner
video upload by Craig Barnes
"Building a cheap Jupiter 8 from two JP-08 modules I rarely use. I've tried to emulate as much of the original Jupiter 8 onto the front panel, although I've made some concessions because of the way the JP-08 is controlled over MIDI."
