Continuous and Discrete Motion

"New Uses for Old Circuits is a series looking at linear and nonlinear processes in the modular system.
In this video we explore the relationship between continuous and discrete signals, and observe how playing with that tension in the context of a feedback loop leads to chaotic behavior.

Minimal Dub Techno with Game Boy, FMS, LSDj, and wavestate | Resistant Force 2026-05-21 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A minimal dub techno piece created with Game Boy, FMS, LSDj, and @KORG_INC wavestate.
On the wavestate, the arpeggiator is enabled while the sound is continuously shaped and transformed using knobs and the stick controller.
On the Game Boy Advance, FMS is used to play glitch noise and FM synth phrases.
On the Game Boy, LSDj is used to create rhythms based on TR-909 and 808 style kits.
Each device is matched only by BPM, without wired synchronization."

5/19/26 (beat) Roland CR-78 & SPH 323 + DSP 808 + MIDIVERB II + CXM 1978
video upload by Cfpp0
"Today I clocked the Roland CR-78 with the ALM Pamela’s New Workout. The pattern is a combination of ROCK 3 and BEGUINE RHUMBA on auto A/B. The CR-78 is running through the Roland SPH-323 phase shifter, then through the Moog MKE parametric equalizer, with additional EQ from the Mackie Onyx 1640 mixer. The percussion that drops in at 0:13 is the DSP 808, triggered by the CR-78 trigger output. Everything has delays and reversed reverbs from the Alesis MIDIVERB II and CXM 1978."

We had some great laughs, good food a beer from time to time.
Enjoy!"
