"The romantic notion that there is someone out there for everyone sent hundreds of millions of people to online dating apps last year, including Jay Wires. Trapped in a world with seemingly infinite options where temporary relationships are the norm, he decided to set himself apart by putting his profile to music with a brief jingle expressing his intentions, thus giving birth to 'Illusion,' a foray into a desolate, chimerical territory, as he succinctly expresses the loneliness and hopelessness that one feels when searching for their soulmate in a landscape that feels more like a carnival’s House of Mirrors than its Tunnel of Love.

A plaintive query prefaces a punchy electronic beat, and synth layers build as Wires’ cri de coeur - raw and emotional, gives way to a chorus driven by a galloping bassline with the intensity of a racing heartbeat, and distant bells like a death knell stab you to your core, evoking that hollow feeling of loss and want. "FLUORINE receives a firmware update. Theres tweaking in the algoridmths to do it sound more musical and rithmic. There´s also an algo 5 modification so it doesnt crush.

"Gotharman has today launched a new 32hp multi-function Eurorack module, called Touch Tuul, for pre-ordering. Final release is expected in October.

Features:
-4 channels.
-Each channel has one main function and one utility function.
-Any function can be selected for any channel.
-Each of the four Main functions can be: Oscillator/LFO, Dual Filter, Effects Processor, CV controlled Mixer.
-Each of the four Utility functions can be: Touch screen keyboard, Sequencer, Draw Wave Modulator.
-CV recording is possible into the Draw Wave Modulators.
-Four 24 bit audio/trigger/clock inputs.
-Four 16 bit high precision CV/gate/clock inputs.
-Four 16 bit audio/CV/gate/clock outputs.
-Two 12 bit audio/CV/gate/clock outputs.

1980 Dual Manual Prophet 10 Plus Eurorack

"In this video, I’m using a few Eurorack modules to add some extra gravy to the Prophet 10 through the pedal inputs on the rear panel. The modules used are a Pico RND, 2HP CLK, PM Foundations Micro VCO (X2) and a Befaco Attenuverter (in my custom panel). With this setup, I can have different modulations for the Prophet VCOs and VCF, audio rate modulation and a sample and hold. There are a couple of tracks going on so it’s not all played simultaneously. This video is a bit longer, almost 7 minutes, and gets a bit weird but as always I’m hoping you’ll watch and listen to all of it."
