Another ARP 2600 Synthesizer Video Clip

YouTube via 123synthland
"Here's an improvised performance on a vintage ARP 2600 we just put up for sale. We stopped posting full front panel videos since someone copied one of our patches. Not that this particular patch is anything special, mind you, but people should come up with their own patches. Ya know?"

Moog Sample and Hold Model 1125 Demo w/ Vintage Minimoog Analog Synth

YouTube via 123synthland
"Here's an improvised performance on a vintage Moog Sample and Hold unit. This flexible box is controlling one of the many vintage Minimoog synthesizers we've lovingly serviced and sold. The S+H is currently up for sale.
Enjoy the noise and email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

Vintage Linn LM-1 Drum Computer made famous by Prince, Human League, etc

YouTube via 123synthland
"We buy, sell & trade vintage analog synthesizers, but you probably knew that already. Here's an improvised performance on an original Linn Drum Computer LM-1 we recently sold to a well known musician. The cover's off as I was doing a final inspection and test before shipping it out. These Linn sounds were all over 80s synth records, especially Prince and Human League albums. We've got another LM-1 in stock that we will probably put on the market soon. If you look closely, you'll see a vintage Emu modular synth in the background. We love our modular synths. Enjoy, and email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

Moog Sonic Six Vintage Synthesizer 123synthland Demo

YouTube via 123synthland.
"We just put this 1 up for sale along with a ton of other similar items. This patch was set up very quickly, with minimal effort. It should however give you a decent idea of SOME of the types of sounds this synth can make. This particular Sonic 6 is being offered with a CV and gate input adapter. In this series of videos some of the sounds are self-playing using only the Sonic Six either in VCA bypass mode or with the LFOs triggering the envelopes but a couple are being controlled via sequences quickly entered into the Roland MC-202 microcomposer. Enjoy, and email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

SDS7 PWND BY THE 909

YouTube via MADRRRRR.

"Just playing around with my 'new' simmons sds7. The accent of the 909 works on the trigger too and gives random responses.

To bad the analog part of the bassdrum is a bit busted. Some pots react only at the end and one of the toms leaks noise when it set to zero.

But listen to those cem 3340's osc's, the lovely noise and those 8bit crushed & cut up sounds.

Can't find any clues on the filter but it's sweet ! if anyone got any clue about the filter please let me know. Also i would love to have service manuals but i think they're just not there anymore. If anybody got more cards or a 'full' working sds7 let me know too.

thanks to theo parrish for the groove inspiration and 123synthland for pointing at the sds7"

Roland MC-202 Micro-Composer TB-303 ish Acid Machine

YouTube via 123synthland.
"Everyone knows we deal in vintage synths professionally (that's right, no brick in a box, Ebay style!). So anyway, here's a short clip of the Roland MC-202 we're about to put up for sale, all entered step time. Disregard the TB-303, I had big plans to post a video the 2 squawking together but things sounded too cluttered with 2 busy patterns. Check my other videos for a 303 clip. This isn't the best pattern in the world, but y'all aren't paying me to make dance tracks, so ya get what ya pay for! :) Email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

Oberheim Xpander programming

YouTube via 123synthland.
"As vintage synth dealers, we get to play with a lot of fun toys, but you already know this... I love the Oberheim Xpander! Here's me programming a patch or 2 on the next Xpander we plan to sell. I started out with Oberheim's initialized patch. Though the Xpander isn't as tweak friendly as an analog synth with 1 fader for every parameter, it's still an amazing and deep tool that can be programmed pretty quickly once you're familiar with the layout. Enjoy, and email me anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

ARP Avatar - 6 videos

YouTube via 123synthland. Up for auction here. Note there are six videos in this set.
"We deal in vintage synthesizers, but you already know that. :) Here's the ARP Avatar we've currently got up for sale. The Avatar is essentially a keyboard-less version of the ARP Odyssey that was designed to be played by either a guitar or a CV Gate instrument like an old vintage keyboard with 1 volt per octave and gate outputs or an analog sequencer.
These days most people use them with a MIDI to CV converter or a guitar. These are pretty rare. They're often without the guitar pickup or their guitar circuitry isn't working right. This particular one was tested with a guitar, works well and comes with the hard to find guitar pickup as well. This series of video clips features the Avatar, with occasional help from a few other items we're unloading - a Roland RE-201 Space Echo, Roland SH-101 Blue and Oberheim Mini-Sequencer. All of the sounds are coming from the Avatar in all except 1 video where the SH-101 is patched through the filter together with the Avatar's oscillators. The reverb and delay effects are courtesy of the Roland Space Echo and any sequences you hear come from the Oberheim Mini-Sequencer and/or the SH-101. Several of these videos show just the ARP triggering itself, without a sequencer. Enjoy, and email me anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

Oberheim Xpander with analog sequencer

YouTube via 123synthland.
"We are pro vintage synth dealers, but you all know that by now. :) Here's the Oberheim Xpander we just put up for sale being controlled by the ARP Sequencer we also just put on the market. Playing the Xpander from an analog sequencer's a lot of fun and makes me wonder why I control mine via MIDI. Hmmm. Email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

Electrocomp EML-400 Sequential Synthesizer Analog Sequencer

YouTube via 123synthland.
"We deal in vintage synths, so we get to play a lot of fun toys. But you already know that. So... Here's the EML Electrocomp-400 we just put up for sale. It's an analog sequencer with 2 sets of 16 faders x 3 and a built in 2 oscillator analog synth with a multimode filter and ring modulation. Enjoy, and email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

ARP 2600 Vintage Modular Analog Synthesizer Video Demo 2

YouTube via 123synthland. Demo 1 here.

One of our favorites is the ARP 2600. We've sold many of them over the years, and each one sounds different. This is a video of 1 of a couple short "jam sessions" I had with the we just put up for sale. Its knobs are off as we were wrapping up cleaning and servicing this unit. We've got a keyboard for it but it wasn't used for this noisemaking session. ARP 2600s are well known for their filter instability. This one in particular is quite unstable - the filter clips really easily when the resonance is low, to the point where the sound can sometimes disappear, so it's great for distorted noises. Simply altering the volumes of the signals going into the filter and VCA can cause some very interesting rhythmic effects. Because of its unique sound, we decided to leave the filter the way it is rather than tweak it or replace it with a "better behaved" one. This video is a departure from my normal 10 second clips, so hopefully this won't bore you guys to death. :) Enjoy. Email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

Korg Polysix Demo

Korg Polysix Demo 1

Korg Polysix Demo 2

YouTube via 123synthland.
"Here's the serviced Korg Poly-6 we just put up for sale. This video shows it playing itself in arpeggio latch mode. We feel the P6 is a terrific sounding synth but unfortunately most P6's you'll find today have been seriously damaged from battery acid leakage. Repairing this problem requires skill - we've seen some really poor amateur attempts that didn't work. Luckily, our tech is quite skilled with P6 repairs! If you've got a P6 with the original factory battery in it, save your patches (if they're still in memory) and clip the old battery IMMEDIATELY. Acid damage can be found above and below the circuit board, so don't conclude that things are OK if you don't notice any corrosion on the top. Enjoy the video, and email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

Linn Drum LM-2 Demo w/ Powder Trail

Roland RE-201 Space Echo Loop

YouTube via 123synthland.
"Here's another Roland RE201 we're just about ready to put up for sale. This no-frills clip demonstrates a 1 bar bell sequence from a Yamaha QY series mini workstation / paperweight being effected by the tape delay section of the Space Echo. Kind of brings me back to a nightmare I had where the icecream truck just wouldn't go away. :) But anyway, the first few seconds are without effect, then echo modes are manually switched and tape speed's tweaked a couple times too. We love Space Echos! Enjoy. Email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"

Multivox MX-202 String Synthesizer

YouTube via 123synthland.

"Here's a simple audio clip of the Multivox MX-202 string synthesizer we're about to put up for sale. This is quite a rich sounding synth, thanks to the onboard ensemble effect. We feel it's a nice alternative to the ARP String Ensemble IV / Solina keyboard. Enjoy! Email us anytime at minime123@onebox.com"
