"Groove Box Synthesizer with 6-Track Sequencer and Effects
The Sonicware Liven Mega Synthesis is a groovebox that combines a synthesizer with the classic sounds of the world's first 16-bit game console and a step sequencer. This versatile machine offers a wide range of sound engines including FM, PSG and 8-bit PCM, with sampling options of 12, 24 and 48 kHz. It includes effects such as delay, reverb, crusher, distortion, compressor, low pass filter, high pass filter, isolator and remix performance effect.

The 6-track, 128-step sequencer, together with the 27-key keyboard with Hold function and built-in speaker, guarantee a complete musical experience. Connections include audio in/out, headphone output, sync in/out and MIDI in/out, all with 3.5 mm jacks. The device operates on 6 AA batteries (not included) or with an optional 9V, 1A power supply.

It featured a 2-OP FM synthesizer, producing sounds reminiscent of the Yamaha Porta series home/toy keyboards.

Equipped with a 2-octave touch keyboard, the PCM 100 boasted a robust real-time/step sequencer with 8K RAM for recording. Its large LCD screen facilitated composing and note entry, allowing playback of any of the 100 onboard FM sounds.

Although the synthesizer itself was monophonic, it offered three additional parts for accompaniment, including bass lines, chords, and 15 rhythmic patterns. Uniquely, the PCM 100 included a built-in cassette recorder for storing and loading composed sequences.
