TouellSkouarn - Superbooth16

Published on Apr 15, 2016 DivKidVideo

"No word from Gael at Touellskouarn in the video but just me having a playing around with two of the three new modules. Drones, odd rhythms, feedback, modulation all that good stuff. And then his BBD reverb module at the end of the chain. Not a demo by any means (he should send me them to demo right ;) ?) but just a play around and some sounds."

Studio Electronics - Superbooth16

Published on Apr 11, 2016 DivKidVideo

"This one was a real "kick your teeth" monster of a module. Simon representing Studio Electronics gave us a run down on the first Tone Star module to make it into the EU for Superbooth. It's a full voice module that's semi modular or fully modular with lots of patch points to start breaking the internal connections to make your own. Everything from more polite techno/acid to gnarly distortion and feedback ... which was ace!"

Moog Island Walk-around - Superbooth16

Published on Apr 8, 2016 DivKidVideo

"A little rough and ready but for those that haven't seen here's a walk around the Moog Island that Moog created at Superbooth. Not just the cactus (or cacti is it?) laid out like Moog did at NAMM but also peppered with a few old GDR east German goodies from around the Funkhaus studios themselves.

What better than to soundtrack this with some drone, ambient soundscape type thing (knocked up from a few quick patches for the video)."

Verbos Electronics - Superbooth16

Published on Apr 7, 2016 DivKidVideo

"Here's the first of what will be many videos from Superbooth16. A truly amazing event that's left my sulking like a stroppy teenager for the few days that have followed the event. Mark Verbos was great to speak to and it's a pleasure to say that he'll be on a future Modular Podcast show too. So watch out for that one!"
