DT 303 vs Xoxbox

video upload by Dtronicsmusic

"Basic demo of the Dtronics DT-303 Distortion for the TB-303 / RE-303 / XoXbox"

DT 303 vs Dinsync RE 303

"The Dtronics DT-303 is a distortion that fits perfect with a Roland TB-303 or clone. Giving it unique sound to your acid music.

he Dtronics DT-303 is not your ordinary distortion, It is not a clone or copy.
It gives you 3 blends that you can adjust and filter. Each of the 3 settings have minor changes in the frequency spectrum. The distortion knop allows you to spice things up from minor to overrated distortion. Use the filter knob to suppress those high frequencies. A volume knob is added to adjust the output level to your needs. A bypass knop allows you to switch back to the original sound quickly.
The DT-303 was designed to fit perfect next to your TB-303 or RE-303. With the connections at the back you will have no spaghetti wires hanging over your gear."

Dtronics - Production of the final batch DT7 Programmers

Published on Jan 23, 2019 Dtronicsmusic

Dtronics DT7

"We started the final run of the limited edition DT7 programmer.
It can be used with the Yamaha DX-7 ( DX-1 DX-5 TX-802 TX-816)

The DT7 programmer is produced on our prototype line..

In the early 80's the Japanese engineers invented the digital synthesizer, known as the DX-7 the first portable FM digital synthesizer hit the market.

It was a great success followed, making it in practically every top 10 hit in the 80's and 90's.

The beast never got tamed, as the learning curve to operate it was so steep, people started using presets, and barely touched it's vast array of parameters.

At DTronics we have brought many MIDI solutions and even brought new life to the Roland JX-3 and Alpha Juno series through our dedicated programmers the DT-200 and DT-300.

Being one of the most powerful synths in the world we believe that a DX-7 programmer to explore the powerful array of parameters is a worthy addition to our product line.

DTronics presents:
The DT7 programmer for the DX-series synthesizers. The DTronics DT7 Programmer uses the same type architecture used in our DT-200 and DT-300 series, but on a massive scale!

Key features:
- The DT7 runs it's own software within it's own processors
- Firmware updates over MIDI
- Supporting different types DX-series
- Provides a knob for every parameter, no layers, no fuss!
- Easily adjust envelopes of the appropriate operator's Envelope generators, pitch settings, scaling...!"

dtronics NANO series

Published on May 11, 2014 Dtronicsmusic·6 videos

Dudes dancing with guitars.

"The Nano sync converts midi clock to sync pulses.
It has 2 Dinsync outputs that can individualy be set to 24 , 48 or 96 ppqn, and a jack sync output that can be used with arpeggiators or sequencers and it can be programmed from 24/127 ppqn up to 24ppqn.
It has low latency of less than 200 micro seconds.
A Led shows the current clock speed - 1/24 of clock frequency.
Power input: 9 DC, max 100mA. 2.1mm plug, + on center pole

Average latency: less than 0.3ms

*********************************************
Nano Merge

Despite its small size and low price, it is an intelligent MIDI merger.
It has two MIDI IN ports and one MIDI OUT port. Both midi inputs are opto-isolated.
An indicator lamp lights when midi data is being received.
The Nano merger handles all MIDI message types, including System Exclusive and MIDI Time Code, and clock.
Channel Voice messages are normally transmitted in the order in which they were received.
Midi timing commands have higer priority. So if Note Data is received at channel 1, and a midi timing message comes in at channel 2, the timing message will be sent to the output as soon as possible, interrupting the note commands from channel 1, ensuring extreme low latency, and minor drift in midi timing.

Power input: 9 DC, max 100mA. 2.1mm plug, + on center pole
Average latency: less than 0.3ms

*********************************************

Nano Thru

The Nano Thru is a 1-in 3-out MIDI Thru Box.
The Nano Thru provides additional MIDI Thru ports in a classic MIDI setup.
This way you will eliminate latency caused by daisy-chaining midi equipment.
All MIDI messages appearing at the In Port are sent unchanged to all three Thru ports.
The signal is cleaned by the hardware, by analyzing the data and completing lost data strings ensuring any signal scew is eliminated.
The Nano Thru is externally powered to ensure error free operation over long cables and has a low latency of max. 3 micro seconds.
A MIDI indicator LED flashes when MIDI data is received.

Power input: 9 DC, max 100mA. 2.1mm plug, + on center pole
Average latency: less than 3us"
