DYNACORD P20 Programmable Digital Drum Computer / Computer & Drum-to-Midi-Converter
video upload by ohm_studi_ohm
Pics and listing links previously posted here.
"Quick functionnal demo of the Dynacord P20.
Though being a very simple digital drum expander the P20 has quite some comprehensive features.
It has 24 builtin sounds and 5 more can be added with cartridges, the same used for the Percuter.
Sounds can be played by triggers or by MIDI, and the unit can be used as a trigger to midi converter. When using MIDI you get dynamics over the sounds.
You can program 90 presets with any combination of sounds (or midi out only), volume, midi notes and channel, dynamics and a very effective 'echo' effect. It's a re trigger features that mimics an echo effect. I demo this features at the end of the video.
There is also a special midi mode where you have the whole 29 sounds available at hands. I demo this also in the video."

Pics of the inside below.
You can find a few demos of a Percuter in previous posts here.
"The Dynacord Percuter is a simple drum module that lets you trigger 8 sounds with pads or sequencer.
Very basic features, only a pan and sensitivity control for each channel, as well as independant outputs, and a master stereo output and headphones outputs. There is a cool global pitch control though.
And of course the real nice feature is the ability to change cartridges and thus change sounds as you like. They were many cartridges made and their sound quality is extremely good, in the league of the Linn Drum, Oberheim DMX and such, if not better.
Unit was cleaned and checked and It's fully working and response well to trigger pulses.
8 cartridges are included and they build a full drum kit (a ride or crash could be nice though)
- 111001 Electrified Bass 2
- 111020 Natural Snare 8"
- 111002 Electrified Snare 2
- 111004 Electrified Tom 1
- 111005 Electrified Tom 2
- 111006 Electrified Tom 3
- 111047 Accent Hi Hats Cymbal
- 111048 Closing Hi Hats Cymbal
Please note that P20 and Percuter sound roms are the same (nature snare for instance) they are totally different sounds. The Percuter sounds are 8 bits and the P20 are 16 bits I think. Samples are brighter and longer."

Dynacord Percuter (Germany, 1985) Rare Vintage Drum Synth Trigger with 6 Cards
Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this eBay auction
You can find demos of one in previous posts here.
"Ultra rare electronic vintage drum synth trigger module Dynacord Percuter, made in Germany in 1985!
The Dynacord Percuter has 8 channels all with individual outputs/inputs and uses Dynacord cartridges with 8K eProms inside: if you have imagination you will work out how to exchange the eProms and customize your electronic drum sounds!
The only knob that doesn't work in the unit is the pan knob for the channel 1: the channel 1 works perfectly, only the “pan” (right/left) doesn't work in this channel (it probably just needs to be cleaned or the potentiometer needs to be replaced: we are not technicians). Everything else works perfectly!
Drum sounds can be pitched up and down with the pitch knob!
Totally analog unit, with really fat and super cool sounds!
It comes with the following 6 cartridges:
• Natural Rimshot
• Natural Snare 8”
• Natural Tom 13”
• Natural Tom 16”
• Natural Bass 22”
• No Name"

Drumcomputersystem Dynacord ADD-one/ADD-drive/BigBrain
Googlish translation from German:
"In this auction to offer you a complete Dynacord Sampling drumcomputer System consisting of one ADD-ADD-drive (including the sampling option), and the Big Brain Sequencer. Who wants to know how the system sounds, should the first edition of the Synthesizer-Magazin care.
Dynacord ADD-one
The Dynacord ADD-one has a hammer in terms of sound, handling and editing. The Samplingdrumcomputer ADD-one was from June 1985 to February 1986 from a Dynacord cooperation with the American team of designers Froward Fast Design (former Oberheim). For example, the spring comes the legendary Oberheim Marix-12 and Xpander.
In 1987, the ADD-drive, a RAM with the motherboard has been extradited. This is one of the ADD-an external analog to digital input jack or XLR and a 3.5 "floppy drive to the external sample storage. Without this board RAM is the ADD-one with up to three sample-ROM Paltinen upgradeable.

Dynacord Three rackmount drum modules - VEMIA

click the image for the full size shot. "Three of these chunky Dynacord electronic drum units, not completely tested because there is only one power supply (Dynacord PAC 918, 18V and 9V AC on a 7-pin DIN)) included, but potentially powerful. Dynacord (a very helpful company) have provided the pin-out - see revised photo. Percuter eight track Digital Drum Computer with 8 cartridges: Electrified Bass 1, Metal Snare 8inch, Reggae Snare, Natural Tom 10inch, 13inch, 16inch, Timbales 14inch, Rock Ride Cymbal. Missing top to Pitch control; cosmetically 6/10. Big Brain 16 Track Digital Sequencer, cosmetically 8/10. Percuter S - like the Percuter, but with no cartridges, but each channel has an individual pitch control with on/off switch. Packing at VEMIA: £8 - heavy, and always more difficult to pack three heavy things in one package safely."
