"Moog's Subsequent 25 takes the form factor of the Sub Phatty and updates it with the sonic flavor of the Subsequent 37. Now with a high-headroom mixer, improved drive, and optional paraphonic operation, the Subsequent 25 covers far more ground than its predecessor.

The Subsequent 25 is great for monstrous bass lines and leads, with all the sonic depth and range one would expect from a Moog monosynth. Optional two-note paraphonic operation breaks it out of these roles and into entirely new territory—combined with the integrated Multidrive, Ladder Filter, and rich internal modulation, the Subsequent 25 can create a huge range of sounds. The resulting film, Building Your World, animated by House and scored by Flying Lotus using the Subsequent 25, invites the viewer to slip into the mysterious and magical sci-fi world of analog circuits and waveforms.

Building Your World brings the journey from Sub Phatty to Subsequent 25 full circle, evoking 2013’s New Machine For Living, the animated film scored by Flying Lotus to celebrate the release of the original Sub Phatty synthesizer.

The Subsequent 25 is a new 2-note paraphonic analog synthesizer that implements upgraded sonic modifications and functional improvements from the Subsequent series of instruments. The new synth builds on the Sub Phatty analog synth, but implements upgraded sonic modifications and functional improvements. The Subsequent 25 also builds on the Sub Phatty by upgrading to wood side pieces, implementing the paraphonic functionality of Duo Mode and featuring the Subsequent series of user-requested performance adjustments

The soundset includes: 39 Leads, 20 Plucks, 5 Chords. There's a wide range of tones: retro/vintage/classical and modern, soft/gentle/deep and aggressive/harsh/bright, noisy, evolving, punchy... Leads are great for synth solos, plucks can be used with external arpeggiator/sequencer, or can be played with the keyboard.
