Tokyo Tape Music Center is a play on the San Francisco Tape Music Center. This is the first one featured on the site.

"Tokyo Tape Music Center - Dual Sine/Sawtooth Generator Model 158 - Buchla 100 eurorack style. Factory build, not DIY.

Excellent dual oscillator, captures the 100 sound. Waveshape & FM on each oscillator. Runs at Buchla's standard 1.2v/Oct, unlike the majority of euro modules. It's easy to convert incoming voltage to this standard with Disting, Synovatron interface, or Ornament & Crime. External control does require a voltage offset, just like the 100 series did. TTMS makes a version of the 156 voltage processor, or you can use any other processor with offset.

The Tokyo Tape Music Center stuff is beautiful and well built. You won't be disappointed. This one didn't fit into my workflow like I'd hoped, but I'm sad to let it go."

"The Tokyo Tape Music Center is coming out with a Dual Sine-Sawtooth Generator Card for the Easel based on the Buchla 158, one of my favorite dual oscillators. This opens up whole new sonic and timbral worlds for the Easel. Here are just snippets of patches I created in just the first two hours upon unpacking this prototype. More formal videos will follow. If the switch is set to EXT, the frequency knob will not work.

It is not exactly symmetrical.

Attention to the power capacity of the case.

Change the tuning to your preference.

About 5Hz to 13KHz.
