"Here's a tune I whipped up on the Korg DS-10 synthesizer app for the Nintendo DS.
Yep - all Korg and Nintendo (and me) on a synth you can fit in your pocket. Enjoy!"

"Here is the third improvisation using my suitcase music studio. It was a sunny day here in the Netherlands so lots of natural lighting in this movie. On the Nintendo DSi XL I run the Korg DS-10 and on the iPod touch I run the FM3 Buddha Machine app which combines nicely with the lo-fi sound of the hardware Buddha Machine (that orange box). The DS10 and the Kaossilator are synced the old school way by pressing the play button at the right time (before I started filming). Once they're in sync they stay in sync for a long time.
There is one stupid mistake in this movie but I'm not telling you what it was :)
The suitcase has the following devices:
Korg Kaoss Pad Mini
Korg Kaossilator
Korg Monotron
Korg SR1 Sound on Sound
MFB Nanozwerg
FM3 Buddha Machine
Rolls MX41b
Art PowerMix III
Nintendo DSI XL with Korg DS10
Apple iPod Touch with Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer

YouTube via VJFranzK | November 11, 2010 "new KORG iMS10 app for iPAD! Analog Synth and Drum Machine Emulator - Detailed Review Part A" "THE NEXT Great App from KORG! Emulation of their classic MS20 synth from 1978, used by many top electronica bands over the last 32 years. (Also reincarnated in the KORG Legacy Collection, and Nintendo DS10 + !) Multitouch makes this the most synth you can get in the world of "virtual knobs"."
"This is a track I, Ugo Capeto, made with the Nintendo Korg DS-10 (I guess these days you have to mention it's the "original" DS-10). I've tried to use all 6 channels (2 synth + 4 drums) for synth voices. Can't say I miss the usual DS10 drums. For more pocket synth action, check http://korgds-10.blogspot.com"

What can I do to reproduce the sound of the guitar where this software. You can make the sound of guitar and drum sounds interesting overlap with the same sound.
Just a little lofi version of silent night I knocked together a couple of weeks ago whilst I was ill. Nothing too fancy.
My wife Esme recorded the video yesterday while we were driving back from town after a heavy snow fall, it was handheld so its a little shaky. Its basically an xmas version of my video for Parallax but I think it works well.
Also trying out a good bit of free video editing software that can import mp4 directly off my little fuji camera. its called VideoPad video aeditor by NCH software. Well worth a try."
YouTube via ChrisLody. Pulsewidth Modulation on the DS10. "I've managed to come up with a little trick to squeeze PWM sounds out of Ds-10.
I've almost had Ds-10 a year now and I'm still suprised what I can get out of it, serious respect to who ever designed the signal flow and spec of the synths, they did a fine job!
Forgot to mention in the video, once you have sync turned on you can modulate the tune knob using the Kaoss x or y to change the pulse width during a pattern."

Anyone know more about the magazine / book?
Update via Dustbunnies in the comments: "I'm pretty certain I've picked up this one and thumbed through it at the local bookstore. IIRC, it looked mostly like your basic "getting started" guide; much in the same vein as those put out once or twice a year by Computer Music magazine. I think it's just a one-off, in any case, since there hasn't been a second issue in several months.
However, I will state that I can't read kanji for crap, so all standard disclaimers apply. But the fact I didn't buy it anyway means that even the pictures weren't telling me anything I didn't already know.
There are a couple of DS-10 guidebooks that have been put into common circulation over here. At least one of these was interesting enough that I did shell out the cash for it. But not this one." image via the KORG DS10 Blog (Googlish)
