Anyone hear of this before?  Brushed metal, silver knobs and clear buttons.  I thought it might be a custom job until I saw the display above.  Note the image directly below is upside down.

This one spotted and sent in by Loscha.

Roland SH 09 Auto Techno from Loscha

Published on Jun 19, 2013 Edward Jones·62 videos

"Me playing with the SH-09 on a kind of self techno making sound."

"It does a few tricks that other lower-spec monosynths (the CS-01 comes to mind) just cannot do. The Bender was applied to the VCF position and manipulated in time with the LFO to generate a pulsing thumping sound."

Quasimidi Rave-O-Lution Resources via Loscha

Some tips and resources in via Loscha:

"www.quasimidi.eu are the service technicians, and they have spare parts and upgrades, and have manuals for download. It is in German, however, if you view it in Google Chrome, it will automagically translate the pages for you. ROM upgrades, Drum & Synth expansions are available.

The display connector has one more hole than there are pins. If you have it on wrong, the unit won't boot. Check before you screw it up, otherwise it takes four and a half minutes to get your heart out of your throat, because you think you've zapped your expensive synth. If you don't set the

The factory reset (power on whilst holding down Write/Dump) doesn't completely clear the memory, it returns it to the factory preset patterns and patches (including "The Robots" and "Voodoo People")
http://www.loscha.com/Raveolution-309/Quasimidi-famous-tunes.mp3

Yes, it has tablas in the percussion sets. You can rest easy.

I have not mirrored the manuals on my site, as they are available from www.quasimidi.eu freely and easily

Please Enjoy [tons of close-up pics of the inside]:

Any sensible questions, please ask via raveolution@loscha.com and I'll see if I can help you out!"

Suzuki Unisynth XG-1 Guitar Synth with Original Box

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction

"The guitar runs on either 6 C batteries or an AC adapter. Everything pictured is included. There is no strap present. The speaker is not super high quality - but it is a fun piece!"

Update via Loscha in the comments: "This has a Yamaha YM3812 or similar sound chip in it, the same as an AdLib sound card.
The drum patterns are those classic sounds, as are the patches.

The biggest issue to look out for, service wise, is that the connections to each one of the 6 piezo tranducers under the strings is prone to falling off, and requires resoldering.
The rubber on the neck is much more hard waring than Casios DG series.
There's also a MIDI-Only version of the Unisynth, but the note lengths are controlled by a single pot.

It's a great synth, usefyl for the way it makes you play differently, and puts your hand's natural tendancies out of synch."

NAMM: Casio XW-G1 & XW-P1 Spec Sheets - Includes Sampling

This one in via Loscha

"The 2 lots of release envelopes on there means you can do Casio MT-65 style 'fake reverb', where the volume goes to 1/8th volume almost instantly, then the last 1/8th of the volume decays over 2 seconds.

You can also do this on the CZ envelopes.

They’ve taken a BIG leave from the CZ design. A shame the groove-synth version doesn’t have drawbars, which the Casio SK1 sampler had.

Interesting times for Casio."

Would be cool if these mags were scanned online like Synapse. Loscha does have a ton of scans here.

Bleep Labs Thingamakit

via this auction
"Discontinued item from Bleep Labs.
This is the Kit, without an enclosure. You can build it into whatever you feel like!

The box indicates that it comes with one White and one Yellow LEDacle as I ordered, but I've not opened it.
LEDacles are the cute little antannae that come from your creation. They pulse with light, and are interactive at controlling the sound."

Note this one is via Loscha. If you mention this post to him he will throw in "a free extra photocell and some other stuff."

Box shot.

EMS VCS3 Synthesizer SN 327

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction

"It only comes with 10 patch pins unfortunately and a couple of those are a little on the wonky side. I spoke to Robin Wood from EMS and he can easily supply new ones. He also told me that he himself owned this VCS3 (Serial 327) between 1970 and 1971. Cool eh?

The Oscillator 1 pot slips from time to time, and there is a small crack in the VU meter cover. Apart from that its in really good nick. Obviously used but pretty good for its age."
