"I decided to do some wiggling outside for a change. I took a small setup on to the patio and came up with this little jam. I used the Polivoks Mini Modular, the Volca Beat Machine, and the Korg SQ-1. It ended up sounding pretty cool."

The Aion 907A wasn't a module I was traditionally interested in, but I found a good deal so I decided to give it a shot. Wow! This thing is really cool. In this video, I patched up a basic 2 oscillator FM patch with some subtle modulation. The 907A is like a canvas that lets you pain with frequencies."

"This was kinda fun. I decided to plug my CBG into the modular synth. It goes thru a homemade fuzz pedal, into the Pittsburgh InOut, then thru a Harvestman Polivoks VCF, and finally into MI Clouds. It doesn't really sound like a CBG after all that... but the twang still comes thru.

"Everyone says sending MI Rings into MI Clouds is played out. However, I feel like there are still a lot of cool tracks to be made with these two modules. This is the third video in my 'Rings in the Clouds' series. Here I send Rings into Clouds then mult the audio out back into Rings causing a Rings/Clouds feedback loop. It sounds pretty cool."

"This is a first take, so it's not perfect... but I like the way it came out. I was messing around with the cassette player I modified and my Juno Gi. It's a definitely moody soundscape.

"I decided to give this idea a try and I was fairly pleased with the results. I'm using a ByronStatics KCS-315 AM/FM radio and a Sony TCM-200DV variable-speed cassette player along with my Volca Bass, Volca Beats, and Microbrute synthesizers. The 7-second tape loop you hear was made by The Void Electronics in Ireland.

"I decided to take the modular out of the studio and just sit down on the wood floor. There's something oddly organic about wiggling on a wood floor. It feels almost like an acoustic instrument."

Monday Rain (TX Wiggles 34)

"I woke Labor Day morning to a rainy gloomy Monday. I opened a window to listen to the rain and got an idea. I put a microphone on the window sill to record the rain, and then did a jam. I mixed the rain track separately to get the levels right. This is a first take (well, technically a second take because I forgot to hit record and then noticed a minute or so later).

I used a simple 1 osc patch on the modular, a Korg Volca Beats, my Minibrute, and a DSI Mopho. It came out pretty cool, but the good thing is, it stopped raining less than a hour later so I'm glad I recorded it while I could."
