How to make house bass sound with Novation V-Station VST

How to make house bass sound with Novation V-Station VST from Greeg on Vimeo.
"This short tutorial shows how to make nice house / electro bass sound with Novation V-Station VST Instrument. Well, actually it's high layer bass sound - you can layer it with some subbass. Notice how FM Level Knob can dramatically change the sound. Also Oscillator 2 has volume set to 0 but still it affects an output sound thanks to FM (Synthesis) Knob

You can find this preset + whole sound bank for V-Station (and other synths) at vst-cafe.blogspot.com"

SuperCollider on Eee: first demo

"I've just got SuperCollider running smoothly on an Asus Eee PC (on the default Xandros Linux that comes with it), so here's some video evidence... (by the way, towards the end I accidentally put the unit to sleep, silly me)"

8 Bit Larynx - York 2007-07-23 - MCLD

YouTube via mcldx
""8 bit larynx" performed at the NetVoTech concert (which was all about the musical use of voice+technology). In this track I use my voice directly to control an emulated ZX Spectrum 128 sound chip.

For technical details of the "timbral remapping" process I'm using in this piece, please see my research paper at http://tinyurl.com/2rf9ue (there's also a video lecture: http://tinyurl.com/3buzq9 ). Hi-qual video at http://tinyurl.com/2n8odr"

"I just got this piece of gear yesterday, thought I put up some sounds already...

This is nothing quite like the Juno 60... much dirtier and/or more mellow. Very strange...

I like what comes out of this 1983 midi-capable Roland synth."

"It is really dark because my cameras recording feature sucks. But the sound was dead on and I think that is the only thing that matters. Shorting out the legs for ICs 43-46 will cause the sweet glitching sounds. Those are labeled IC43, IC44, IC45, IC46. All other ICs will ruin your DW-8000. Thank me for sacrificing my DW for you. Also potentiometer substitutions can be made for trim pots VR1 and VR2 for some better pitch like tweaking. There are a ton of other trim pots but they didn't seem to make a difference."
