Commodore 64 Ocean Loader 4 & 5 Music

YouTube via TheCommodore64Player
"Here you got the music from the Ocean Loader 4 & 5! I posted earlier a clip that included Ocean Loader 1, 2 & 3 (unfortunately there is a 10 minute limit so I could not put them in same clip). The purpose of this video is just to make you see the small differences between the different loaders used by Ocean. The V5 is a slightly remixed version of the fourth version. Both loaders were composed by Jonathan Dunn. There were a handful of games that got their own loaders, but there were 5 different loaders that were used in Ocean Softwares games. The loaders with these tunes were used in 100+ games and should be remembered by everybody that once had a C64 ;) Ocean Loader V5 begins at 3.11. Sorry for messed up and out of sync loading video, but the title emphasis music and the music is recorded ok :)"

Top10 Amiga Classics

"This Top10 list is compiled from www.lemonamiga.com Top100 list. This is the top 10 list standing at 19 October 2009. If you do not like the list then go and vote for your favorite Amiga game. The current leader got an average 9.18/10 with 376 votes.

1.Secret of Monkey Island
2.Monkey Island 2
3.Sensible World of Soccer
4.Lemmings
5.The Settlers
6.Cannon Fodder
7.Pinball Fantasies
8.Ambermoon
9.Simon the Sorcerer
10.Speedball 2

I have not personally played all these games, I just found prerecorded amiga games from predominantly www.recordedamigagames.org and made a "1 minute trailer" of each game. My personal top 10 list would have included It Came From The Desert, Mortal Kombat 2, Roadkill, Super Street Fighter 2, Golden Axe, Lotus Turbo Challenge, Super Cars... Maybe I'll make another list with my personal childhood favorites if I got time or if I won't go to crazy to figure out which game was my favorite."

Moog Realistic MG-1 Used as audio filter

YouTube via Thalassa77
"I've been working on this synth to the last weeks. It's a Moog Realisitc MG-1 and now after restoration it's like new or even better because I've made few modifications that increase the power and uses of this synth.

I've take it off the old RCA connectors and I've added and Audio Input to the filter, a Gate Input ( the synth has S-trig ) , and CV Input to control de synth. Also I've made a modification to have better signal/noise ratio. With this modifications this synth can be used as filter in your modular system, can be modulated by other synths , can be easyly controlled by MIDI using a normal MIDI/CV conversor ( you don't need special one with S-trig signal ).

A picture set of this synth can be seen here:

"Erich tests out his TX606 after I fixed it.

The TX606 (modified Roland TR-606) is triggering Andromeda Mk-3 synth bass module. Andromeda Mk's can be configured to play from their own internal sequencer or respond to an external trigger, such as the TR-606's trigger outputs.

Andromeda Mk-3 is available thru ericarcher.net

The TX606 was on the workbench because it had developed a nasty habit of spontaneously exploding batteries. Not sure whats going on but it is on strict no-battery regimen now. only AC adapter. I modded the memory backup capacitor (C27) and now it holds patterns for 90 minutes with no batteries."
