MIDI keyboard conversion

YouTube via Mahto
"Here's a project that I've had kicking around the lab for a while. It's a MIDI conversion for an old organ synth. I set up the circuit last April, then converted the two organ flights into a single keyboard this summer."

Oxygene part IV - Cover by Andy Ford

YouTube via Yorkshirelad69

"My second take on on Jarre' s seminal Oxygene part IV using just a Nord Wave, Novation Supernova II, Korg Radias, Stereo Small Stone Phaser and a Mini Pops 7 VST emulation - Tiny Pops for the Percussion track. You can download the demo here - http://www.superwavesynths.co.uk/prod...

No other additional effects were used.

While remaining pretty faithful to the original I have started the track off in a slightly different way, one that I'm sure Jean Michel himself would approve of :)"

Voltage Controlled Slope

via macumbista.net where you'll find the full details, images and audio.

"Desperately trying to finish some new electronics before other tasks consume my attention… the latest module for my DIY synthesizer is something like a clone of the recently released Makenoise Maths, which is itself a riff on the Serge Dual Universal Slope Generator. I actually imagine it much more as a kind of analog computer to tell the truth...

The module was created using PCBs from Ken Stone/CGS synths. I love Ken’s boards to death. I used:

2 x CGS75 Voltage Controlled Slope
1xCGS26 Analog Logic
3xCGS04 DC Mixer"

NAMM: Winter NAMM 2010 Wavedrum performance with Geoff Brown

"Combining advanced DSP technology and hundreds of high-quality samples, WAVEDRUM picks up where trigger-based systems leave off. Join us at Winter NAMM 2010 as Geoff Brown demonstrates the Wavedrum on the Korg Performance Stage."

MoControl - Free DSI MoPho VST Editor

available at signaltonoize.com

"Like most other DSI MoPho & Prophet 08 owners I wanted VST integration to control/automate parameters. This is the much pre-mature outcome of that desire. Feel free to Beta test & make suggestions in the comment section. Forgive the horrid graphics, I’ll be giving the gui, fixes, & changes my attention during creative downtime. As always I hope other like minded musicians get some use/fun out of these efforts."

"wes has bene practicing for his show this w/e. it will be fun to see him play from the front. i only ever see him from the side.

next up, we are going to do the couples love duets for valentine's day. and a movie we made bits of muz for is hitting some festivals. and i'm in it. singing. and i might be helping a friend with his puppet opera. perhaps playing or singing or doing voice parts... this is going to be an interesting year.

also i am going to grow my hair out. but i may keep it brown. it's mellow and easy like sunday morning.

also wes is getting good at raquetball and is turning into the incredible shrinking man.

also i am happy knitting quick knits and getting out of my rut.

that's all for now.
