"Bridge of promises" - on Yamaha HE-8

YouTube via organfairy

"This is a very early Jean Michel Jarre composition that seems to have two titles. Sometimes it is called "Blackbird" but I haven't been able to confirm what the real title is supposed to be.

Anyway I play it on the Yamaha HE-8 organ with CVS-10 expander, Roland Rhytm Arranger for the drum sounds, and Roland JX-8P for the 'fairy dust'."

"Four VCOs, Two VCAs, Moog clone/Synthacon/MFOS 4 pole LP filters, 2 custom ADSRs, 3 LFOs, Rebote Delay, Knick Knacks here and there.

The "cabinet" is 100% Home Depot which is made up of oak planks (aisle 32), plexiglass front panels, 6 layers of black paint. To mount the panels, I used aluminum L strips which were screwed on to the top and bottom planks. The L strips were then threaded for 8/32 screw size. I'm adding another tier in the summer."

Reason for the iPad?

via Moonbuz

"According to the latest CM magazine as they spoke to Propelerhead CEO Ernst Nathorst-Boos there might be a possibility they are going to develope iPad version of Reason as 'iPad is at least as powerful computer as the ones we started making software for back in 90s. And that's pretty exicting!'

Percy Hammersledge - modular synth improv

"This was a fun one- I hope you enjoy it. The modular is a live stereo mix unedited. I jammed to a Bossa Nova drum loop and then mixed and mashed some loops after the fact to make it a bit more interesting. Used SynthesizersDOTcom, Modcan, Suit and Tie Guy, Moon Modular, MOTM, MOTU Volta and a DIY switcher in the upper right. I'm sending various rhythmic trigger pulse streams, including off-beats from Volta and switching them at the matrix switcher. The bottom row controls the delay time for example. I managed to hit the right combination of switches a couple of times and got lucky with some cool syncopations like at 2:29. This is the last section of a much longer jam."

MFB Urzwerg and Nanozwerg First Shots and Urzwerg Specs

via sequencer.de
via the sequencer.de forum.

On the URZWERG Sequencer:
"* 32-step controls for instant access
* Two modes with 2 x 16 or 4 x 8 Steps
* 4 x CV / Gate out * adjustable gate length
* Infinitely adjustable range range from 1 V to 10 V
* Recommended Retail Price: 380, - Euro

The MFB-dwarf family continues to grow steadily. The step sequencer URZWERG thereby provides a universal control center for KRAFTZWERG and Drop and future DWARF DWARVES dar.
The URZWERG has a total of 32 steps that can be used either as 2 x 16 or 4 x 8-Step long sequences. It can run up to four synthesizers or CV-controllable parameters of an analog modular system simultaneous control. In the 4 x 8 mode you can control the URZWERG example polyfon four NANOZWERGE or when KRAFTZWERG pitch, pulse width, filter cutoff and LFO modulation speed simultaneously and independently. In conjunction with a modular course the possibilities are even more diverse. The URZWERG is compatible with the gate and CV inputs of all common Euroracksysteme. The URZWERG is designed for the most intuitive to use. All functions have their own controls and can be changed at running the sequencer. It can be in live operation, not just steps and share and change, it can be adjusted separately and the playback direction and sequence lengths of each row. Among the special features of the URZWERG that are gate length, range and range-Glide separately determined for the series 1 +2 and 3 +4. Range here defined as CV-voltage range of the step control of 1 V to 10 V. For the control of the pitch range can be quantized to 5 V. All four series are equipped with Skip-buttons for each step, with which the output of the gate pulses to the respective positions can be activated or deactivated. Alternatively be the skip-button remote control, the step-off. For more vitality of the sequences are two modes for optimized Shuffle Verfügung.Der URZWERG has four gate and CV outputs on analog synthesizers and modular systems can be controlled with compatible inputs. About the Bushes start I / O and clock I / O can URZWERG to other Analogsequenzer be connected as master or slave. The additional CV-clock input allows for dynamic control of the tempo, for example by an external LFO or CV-voltage issuing Controller.Für synchronization with MIDI compatible sequencers can URZWERG MIDI-Start/Stop-Befehle and send MIDI Clock and receive. The report also contains a transposition of the URZWERG sequences that progressively forwarding or direct control of the steps on a connected MIDI keyboard or from a DAW from possible."
