IO Synth Ts Coming to the Austin IO Synth Meet

Make that today if you are in Austin.  The I/O Austin Synth Meet is today, Friday March 15.  See this post and this post for additional details.  As mentioned in my first post, unfortunately I won't be able to make it as I was previously booked for the MMTA SYNTHFEST, but I am helping support the event.  If you attend be sure to send in pics and videos and I'll post them here on MATRIXSYNTH for you.

"Single patch drone on the DSI Mono Evolver keyboard, one shot recording, no editing.
VCA is held open with max VCA level with tweaking and editing of various parameters during recording. More details below..

Making extensive use of the modulation routings of all 4 LFOs, FM and RM of the digital oscillators and one of the sequencers switching the wave shape of one of the digital oscillators. Strange pitching effects courtesy of S&H modulation of the delay time on 2 of the delay lines built into the MEK. Nastiness courtesy of the tuned feedback circuit.

All running through Sonnox Oxford reverb for a bit of atmosphere, shame I didn't have a Roland Space Echo.

Instant loop switch. (with funky multicolour indicator led) Stores whatever is present in memory, building weird, long loops
Button LEDs changed to green
Touchpad backlight LEDs changed to white, videoprint integrated into touchpad
Matrix of 12 Switches for digital noise, crunch and distorsion, from barely audible to completely unreasonable"

"Rare Solina String-Synthesizer, a combination of the classic String-Ensemble and an Arp Explorer monopnonic synthesizer in one box including the ability to route the strings through the filter of the Explorer, very nice.

Not my finest playing but shows working order, this unit was damaged from transport and works again after technical repair a few years ago, the wooden chasis still has broken parts. Only for pick-up in Hamburg/Germany" Contact on YouTube.
