VOICE ARCHITECTURE

VCOs
Two voltage controlled discrete analog oscillators––waveforms: triangle, sawtooth and variable width square; simultaneous waveforms output; syncing of Osc 2 to Osc 1; Oscillator 2 audio frequency modulation.

VCF(s)
One voltage controlled discrete analog filter: 24db (classic Moog® style) in "Quad Filter System-Mini Mode" and four voltage controlled discrete analog filters in "Quad Filter System-4 Filters": classic Oberheim®, Moog®, Roland® 303, Arp® 2600 style; 12db filter modes: low pass, bandpass, high pass and band reject. Filters do not operate in series or parallel. (Unlike our legacy ATC-1, the filters are not plug-in cartridges, rather internaly mounted circuit boards.)

Envelopes
Three multiple stage envelope generators: attack, decay, sustain and release with inverting and multiple triggering; assignable 3rd. Envelope 1 fixed to filter frequency. Envelope 2 fixed to amplifier level.

LFOs
Two low frequency oscillators––waveforms: triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, square, noise, random; parameters: destination, depth, key trigger, phase, midi sync.

Cross Modulaton (also listed in VCOs)
Oscillator 2 audio frequency modulation. Destinations: Osc 1 frequency, filter frequency.

Ring Modulator
Discrete analog external carrier input for external signal processing (bypasses Oscillator 2 function). Patchable via back panel connections.

Distoriton Circuit
Discrete analog distortion (the heart of an MXR 90), programmable level controls per patch.

White noise generator, external input processor, exponential glide––parameters: time, autoglide interval, destination.

Modulation Destinations
LFOs 1 and 2 and envelope 3: VCO 1 and 2 frequency, pulse width and mix level, VCF frequency and resonance, noise level, Xmod mod amount, LFOs 1 and 2 rate and depth, VCA level.

MIDI Controllers
Dynamics, modwheel, bender, pressure: one destination and amount per; modwheel and pressure: all LFO 1, 2 and envelope 3 destinations including envelopes 1 and 3 amount, dynamics: envelopes 1, 2 and 3 amount; bender: pitch and filter frequency. Fixed continuous controller assignments for all key functions.

In and out, receives program change, bank select, glide on/off, glide time, volume and sysex."

Creamware Minimax ASB

From the Creamware web site:
"From 1970 to 1981, over 13,000 Minimoogs were built: thank you, Dr. Moog! That would seem to be a lot of units, but in hindsight it was not enough. Many more people wanted it, but missed out for whatever reason. If you missed out, no problem—the Minimax ASB Sound Box Synthesizer is yours!

OK, it's not the original. But this is as close as you can get. The Sound: digitally re-mastered down to each detail. A full fat, dynamic Filter, which provides grip, keeps you and your sound warm, whistles like a teapot on a steam oven, and still knows about the truth behind over-modulation.

Also included: Oscillators with wide tires, deep tread, and brute output. Speedy Envelopes. Twelve voices, almost as powerful as two Memorymoogs. BTW: of course Minimax ASB is completely programmable (with memories to boot!).

Best of all: Minimax ASB not only sounds like a Minimoog —you can also really play it like one live. Every pot and every control of the role model is in place. And, via Remote Software, you will find further features, which were previously unavailable.

Features

Um Moog Concertmate Realistic sendo controlado por um sequencer V-Synth Chronos 16

Published on Apr 24, 2013 Paulo Beto·155 videos

via vBrazil translated to Googlish (note there is a eurorack version):

"Description:

The first button, RUN / STOP, or starts to scan the sequences.

Most issues occur in operation or stop the scan, including SAVE and LOAD.

The VALUE knob is unique to the selection of notes, which allows speed and simplicity in issues, especially in real time.

In the bottom block of buttons, red LED's indicate the position of the scan and green LEDs indicate the step / selected memory.

The LAST STEP button determines the size of the sequence. Say the desired size of 12 steps. Presses the button 12 and then the LAST STEP. Done. The sequencer will sweep the Step1 to Step12.

The button TRIGGER ON / OFF enables / disables the output of a trigger pulse in step selected. Works like the LAST STEP, you select the step, presses TRIGGER ON / OFF and the trigger is disabled for that step. If it is already disabled reabilitado.Os LED's on the TRIGGER button indicates its status (red LED, triggers the sequence A and sequence B Green LED).

The fourth button, SEQ A / B, selects and indicates the sequence editing.

The fifth button, CLOCK INT / EXT, selects and displays the clock source. Red LED = internal clock and external clock = green LED.

SAVE & LOAD buttons:

Regarding memory operations, only the buttons 1 to 8 act.

To save a sequence in the third memory just press button 3 and button SAVE.

To load the sequence 5, pressing the button 5, then the LOAD button. Done.

The FREQ pot controls the frequency of the internal clock.

In the stand alone version, the supply is made by an external 9VDC, connection type Boss (Central Terminal = GND), not supplied.

Eurorack version: Width = 45hp (228mm)"

Update: vide re-Published on Apr 25, 2013 - new video below.

"First part of the elkorus v3 video processing guitar, traveling around the different sounds that can be obtained since lush tri-chorus to depth tru-zero flangers. The sounds are usually just guitar-elkorus-amp, but in some cases we add phaser or delay."

The elkorus is by Synthoma. via this post: "The élkorus is a chorus unit that emulates the classical "ensemble" sound of those string machines from seventies. That emulation is not achieved by any DSP technology or software. The élkorus sounds analog because is really analog."

"First part of the élkorus v3 session processing guitar. Now it's time to process a clean guitar. The sound path is guitar-elkorus-amp but we add delay or phaser in some moments.
In this demo we can travel around lush tri chorus, tru-zero flangers, vibratos, or kind of comb filter sound, all with 70's and 80's vintage feeling. The CV features allow to any guitarrist to tweak all the LFO's parameters via CV foot pedal. For more info just visit:

One thing the Blofeld has that the Q does not are all the uWave/XT wavetables.  One thing the Blofeld can do that the uWave/XT can't is have a different wavetable for two of the oscillators.  The uWave/XT shares the same wavetable between it's two oscillators.  The Blofeld of course has an extra third oscillator.  Just something to think about...
