Emu EML Modules?

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction which mentions EML.  I'm guessing this is just a typo or mistake. I don't recall if EML worked with Emu on any modules back then.  If you know feel free to comment or send me an email.  As for design, these are clearly E-mu modular modules.  Via the listing:  "Some vintage 1970's components modules to perhaps a vintage synthesizer or sequencer? I have some paper work that I acquired with these parts. View the photos and judge what I have for yourself. I have no idea if these parts will work or not. Selling as is as found. Pick up only."

Some nice pics of the inside/backside including power supply.

Little Boy Blue via this auction.

"Battery powered modular synthesizer that uses banana jack patch cords. Has a 1/4 input for Guitar, Bass, Microphone or other instruments. Infinitely deep as you create your own sounds by connecting patch cables, this synthesizer uses banana jacks which easily allow the signal to be "multed" e.g. you can send one jack to multiple different jacks by stacking the jacks upon one another. This particular LBB has been modified with a banana jack ground plug on the side, allowing for the ability to interfacing with other banana jack modular synthesizers. It also comes with a some banana jack cables to get you started. Best of all it's battery powered which allows you to take it anywhere, you can use it as a sound generator or use it like a guitar pedal, you can also play it by singing through it using a microphone and routing your voice to the envelope follower.

Features:
2 voltage controlled ramp (sawtooth) oscillators
1/4" input with variable gain
envelope follower with optional inverter
2 channel mixer
intermodulating output stage
powder-coated aluminum case
runs on single 9V battery [NOT INCLUDED]
power automatically disconnected when output cable is unplugged"

Jealous Heart via this auction.
"The Jealous Heart is a battery-powered mini-modular synthesizer, powered by a single 9v battery. Disconnecting the output cable shuts off the power. Instruments are supplied with a set of banana cables for patching.

Features:
voltage controlled low frequency oscillator (LFO)
asymmetrical multimode filter (low pass/bandpass/high pass)
1/4" input with variable gain
white and dark noise
two audio inputs, one with -/+ attenuator
two filter cutoff voltage control inputs, one with -/+ attenuator
powder-coated aluminum case"

"Music on Mobile Devices - Midi and libpd; Peter Brinkmann

Over the past few years, libpd has become one of the leading audio synthesis engines for mobile devices, powering innovative apps such as NodeBeat, Pugs Luv Beats, and Inception: The App. I will present a brief introduction to libpd as a scripting language for audio, with special emphasis on prototyping and workflow. I will also touch upon two related projects, MIDI support for Android (over USB and Bluetooth) as well as an ongoing effort to establish best practices for Android audio development.

Lunetta Guitar Boolean Acousti-Logic

Published on Jun 27, 2013 NakagawaGakki·46 videos

"Modular Synth driven Semi-Acoustic stringed instrument. The Lunetta Guitar uses no computers nor microcontrollers, all circuitry is CMOS discrete analog designed freeform, space wiring style... no toxic circuitboards. Physically patchable with cables, no coding.

This self generating patch is acoustically recorded with Binaural microphones to pickup the spacio-harmonic sounds that swirl around this instrument. If you wear headphones it gives you the impression your head is inside the Guitar.

The synth-guitar just continues to spit out quite complex, evolving (algo)rhythms like this all day long, all by itself!"

via Nathan Thompson on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge: "An Analog Modular Synth Guitar.
Self generating patch acoustically recorded with Binaural microphones. Connected to a PA, VCOs/VCFs and such is mixed with the strings. Strings only in this vid."

Looking forward to hearing it with the VCOs/VCFs.

[Music] Zoobreak (PixiTracker)

"I decided to take a momentary break from Sunvox and started dabbling with PixiTracker. I discovered that the interface is well-suited for tablets, since you just tap once to pick one of the 16 sounds and tap again in a grid to position it. So I found myself composing nightly on a tablet. Nevertheless, the restrictions of just the 16 sounds became a tough but worthy challenge. I stuck to the default sound pack, but I ratcheted the BPM up to 160! I wanted to create a fast head-banging track. :-)

Once I was done on the tablet, I transferred the file to my PC. I used ffmpeg to capture the pattern grid and then once more for the included visualization. Finally, I used OpenShot to combine the two together, tossed in some saturation effects, and added a title!
