"This model includes the kenton socket upgrade that enables the 303 to be controlled using a kenton pro solo midi box. This unit also has an extra resonance resistor fitted which can be switched from the back from the original resistor to a second one that apparently allows for greater resonance - these can apparently also be tweaked internally (by a qualified technician) should you want to change the sound further. The unit also comes with original roland carry case which does have some internal staining and the stitching is coming loose in one corner (see photo) Also included is original manual which also has some signs of wear and a small tear on the back Original Boss power supply is included - please not this is a north american PSU so runs off 125 volts..."

"The Werkstatt 01: Moogfest 2014 Kit is a patchable and compact one oscillator analog synthesizer. It was originally created as a kit, to be the foundation for exclusive “Engineering VIP” workshops at Moogfest 2014. Due to a number of requests, Moog is offering a no-soldering-required version of the Werkstatt 01: Moogfest 2014 Kit in limited quantities, at select US dealers.

Assembly is extremely simple: any user can quickly build an analog synthesizer based on classic Moog circuits, and if desired, modify it. Werkstatt was created to be an educational tool, but it is also a very powerful, compact analog synthesizer from Moog.

"Tweaking away on the iPad with the iPG800 app [iTunes], I ended up on a sound very similar to PWM modulation even though the JX8P does not have a dedicated PW / PWM like its siblings Juno 60, Juno 2, Jupiter 6, Jupiter 8 etc.

Feel free to copy the parameter settings. Important here are DCO 1 LFO depth, DCO 2 cross modulation settings, LFO rate. Once you have set that you can play with filter, tune, envelope and chorus settings. What you see programmed here is exactly what is played, straight out from the JX8P.

The JX-8P is a 6-voice analog synthesizer from 1985."

"Thematically, the scene in my head was a lightening storm in the desert with it's chaotic bursts of sound mixed with the passing noises between randomness and sustained hums and whirls. I experiment loads and came to focus on manipulating the MN René via an SCM (originally clocked by a maths) and it's accompanying breakout module. Both are driving the MI Braids between Drum and Pluck triggers and V/Oct. I've multiplied the output to send it separately through multiple sources (ZDSP, Echophon, Phonogene and ModDemix all modulated via the SCM) Sampled into the Octatrack and finalized through the Strymon El Capistan and Big Sky."
