"I originally fell in love with Peter Gabriel's cover of this song. Sunday night, I was putting my son to sleep and listening to For Emma, Forever Ago and was really inspired to do my own version of this song.

I use vocoder to create a vocal line similar to Bon Iver's signature layering. I ran my tempest and my analog 4 through Korg Kaoss Pads to further add to the glitch sound I was going for. I really wanted to break up the patterns in the rhythms as much as possible, while filling in the space with the various synths, guitars, and bass. I hope you enjoy!"

"Up for sale is a Roland CR 78 Drumcomputer, the first programmable drumcomputer.
It is a very unique drumcomputer with its own sound and charme.

The unit is in very good condition, fully checked and cleaned.

Many CR 78 RAM ic's on the used market are not tested and lot's of CR 78 have dead RAM ic's ( these are expensive and hard to find )
This CR 78 RAM has been tested with a Roland WS 1 Programmer and works as it should.

A new battery with battery holder has been installed and all faders and switches have been treated and checked.

The unit shows very light normal age related wear.

Inlcuded in this sale is the original Roland Start / Stop switch.

The unit runs under 220V."

via the seller: "This synth is really something special. It's received rave reviews in all the magazines and they are completely justified. I was lucky enough to contribute to the sound library and I had a great time working on this synth. They've really covered all vintage bases with this synth. It does an outstanding job of sounding like the great analogues from the 70's and 80's. Arp, SCI, Moog, Roland et al. It can also sound thoroughly modern thanks to the great selection of digital wavetables. Add to that the lovely sounding filters, then on top of that it's awesome FX section. The Perfomance mode is where this thing really comes to life. It's basically 4 stacked synthesizers. So any oscillator configuration is covered from all those classic synths. Here's an example of how I programmed the Vox Humana sound from the great Moog Polymoog 203a. On Program 1 I got a bit of PWM going with the LFO modulating the square waveshape, then added a bit of vibrato so the pitch modulates. On Program 2 I added a saw wave and modulated the pitch slightly with a slightly different rate to the LFO in Program One. Then I whacked on the Ensemble effect and Bam! Instant Numan!"
