Stolen Gear Update!

If you are pressed for time go here.

You might remember the system to the left from this post. It was stolen from cutterfiltoff last month in SE Portland.

Well the system unfortunately has not been recovered, however I do have a some great news. Audio Damage and BMPC have teamed up to offer some goodies for a fundraiser that will not only help replace the system, but will also benefit the Children's Music Foundation.

Full details on what's being raffled here. It's pretty big.

"Moog Etherwave Plus Theremin + Gig Bag + Tripod Mic Stand + DVD

The Etherwave Plus has all the great features and tone of our standard Etherwave theremin.

The “Plus” makes it an ideal controller and performance instrument:

Pitch & Volume CV Outputs - control a different CV parameter with each hand

Gate Output - trigger envelopes and other events

Pitch Preview/Headphone Output - with volume control, lets you hear your note before the audience does.

Power LED - instant visual power status on dark stages

The CV outputs control signals are proportional to the pitch and volume of the Theremin’s audio signal. Connect to the pitch and volume CV inputs of a Little Phatty, Voyager or other analog synthesizer for a completely new way to play your synth. These CV signals are not limited to pitch and volume control. Route them to any CV destination and create a new world of expression. Control anything from the cutoff frequency of a Moog Ladder Filter or the LFO Amount on a Moogerfooger Ring Modulator to the stereo panning on a Minimoog Voyager.

Etherwave Gig Bag
Black nylon packcloth with 3/4" foam padding, removable padded shoulder strap, internal pouch for antennas, and external pouch for power supply unit.

Mic Stand
Tripod Mic Stand fits Etherwave and Etherwave Plus Theremins-the ideal way to mount your Etherwave.

'Mastering the Theremin' DVD covers basic theremin techniques in 6 lessons - and includes exercises designed by Clara Rockmore. Kavina also performs three of her original compositions for theremin. This is the main resource you need for learning to play theremin or for improving your technique.Moog Music & Little Big Films, NC, 1995. 45:01 minutes. "Clara Rockmore" contains performances by Clara Rockmore as well as a discussion of the fascinating instrument. Newly enhanced, including an introduction by Bob Moog. This is a must-have for theremin enthusiasts.

"Up for sale is a Roland Juno 106 in damn good condition both operationally and aesthetically. The dreaded voice chip issue is nonexistent and the body/panel is in great shape. I've done my best to document any imperfections - the biggest issue is some small fading on the bender panel and some little marks on the left end cheek.
All voice chips restored with acetone wash and given new gold plated headers
Chorus BBD chips replaced with identical NOS Panasonics for lower noise
Voice board has been socketed for easy chip removal/replacement
All keys/caps/knobs/buttons have been removed and cleaned, internals have been cleaned (hooray! no 30 year old dead skin cells!)
All tact switches on the front panel have been replaced."
