"A couple of weeks ago I was talking up this unusual concert I was going to be doing with surviving Beat Poet, Rruth weiss, and her partner Hal Davis on Hollow Log. We came to this fresh having only met for a 1/2 hour some months before to see if we were interested in performing together. We had no rehearsal. I didn't know what poems would be performed until an hour before stage time. I think it came out so very well. What do you think about this first time meeting of Beat Poetry and analog modular electronic music (Serge and Cynthia systems)?"

"Here's the latest jam playing around with sequencing modulation to Mutable Instruments Braids Timbre and Colour modes while also sequencing the FM changes in the meta mode.

The RYO VC Sequencer provides forward, reverse and voltage controlled sequencing and the Trig Xpander provides per step pulses and clocked which are mixed and manipulated in the AniModule LogicOgic to drum programming.

"I feel that 'Grace' is one of the best pieces I've ever composed, and together with my other two tracks 'Christian' and 'Vincent' - two other tracks that I also think are some of my best - forms my EP called 'PAVIVUBE PIDEUN', dedicated to my three children. I plan to re-record these three pieces without the errors in these demo tracks, and perhaps, if there's an interest, release PAVIVUBE PIDEUN in a small run of vinyl format."

""The DS-50 has 49 keys, 7 basic sounds, an accompaniment section enabling backing tracks to be used, and a great drum machine with 8 different rhythm styles.

Main three solo sounds are
Harpsichord
Marimba
Vibes

On the accompaniment section there is a Strum/Arpeggio feature which allows strum effects or bass Arpeggios to be played by the machine itself, using the Auto Play or 1-Finger buttons. This allows for great basslines to be played on the bottom 12 notes while leaving the rest of the keyboard for the Solo sound. There is also a 1-Finger chord button, and Record/Playback buttons.

On the Rhythm section there are 8 rhythm styles:
Country/March
Waltz
Swing
Ballad Rock

There are also four sliders labelled Flute 8' (8 Octave?), Flute 4', Oboe and Violin, and these can be used to adjust the tone and waveforms of the 3 main sounds, or be used to make replications of the appropriate sound e.g. Oboe.

There is also a Vibrato slider to adjust the sounds, a great little effect."
