Metasonix R-55 Oscillator FM Tones with LPF

"There is nothing like Metasonix vacuum tube gear as you can hear in this demo of their R-55 vacuum tube oscillator eurorack module.

A Cwejman VCO-6 oscillator is running into the pitch CV input of the Metasonix R-55 oscillator, which syncs the R-55’s frequency to the VCO-6.

A Cwejman D-LFO is frequency modulating VCO-6 FM1, FM2 and FM3 inputs, while frequency modulating itself, as we experiment with modulating the modulators that modulate the carrier sync (FM rates, phase sync and waveforms types).

The Metasonix R-55 is feeding into the Cwejman MMF-6 low-pass filter with Cwejman CTG-VC providing cutoff modulation. Audio monitored directly from LPF out."

This synth has been professionally cleaned and refurbished. All controls cleaned, contacts cleaned and reinstalled. The white modulation switch was refurbished with new contact material (it goes bad after a number of years). A full calibration was performed and all functions checked. Finally, the factory patches were re-loaded."

This is a little demo of the Oberkorn analog sequencer sequencing the MS-10's VCO, VCF and PWM via the 3 channels.

The MS-10 is run through a Maxon AD-900 delay pedal and then straight into the Duet interface. There's also a little bit of ValhallaDSP VintageVerb applied.

This particular Sub Phatty is serial number #431, and was in the first wave of worldwide releases. It originated from Sweetwater, I am the original owner, and was delivered in April of this year.

As an extra, I am including a Moog Little Phatty soft gig bag. This bag, made for a slightly larger keyboard, actually fits the Sub very well, with room for other cables and accessories. Very nice gig bag, the Moog logo silkscreen is still sharp."
