252e CV Programming

Published on Nov 3, 2015 Todd Barton

"An off-the-cuff video manual series for the new Buchla 252e Polyphonic Rhythm Generator. Apologies for low res audio and flipcam resolution, but I hope you can get a sense of the functions and uses of this amazing module. More episodes to follow . . ."

ALM - Dinky's Taiko

Published on Nov 3, 2015 DivKidMusic

"Possibly my favourite drum module the Dinky's Taiko from ALM Busy Circuits. A great 12 bit digital drum module with noise and oscillators sections and CV for nearly everything. You can expand your drum sequences with accent and choke inputs as well."

Gettin' Drony wit WMD

Published on Nov 3, 2015 William Mathewson

"Nothing like a lil afternoon drone patch to get your day back on track.

This patch used a lone Noise Engineering Basimilus Iteratas for the percussive hits in addition to a host of WMD modules."

Novation // KiNK + CALC Circuit Jam

Published on Nov 3, 2015 NovationTV

"We invited KiNK and CALC to our Amsterdam apartment during ADE to jam with Circuit.
What you see is the unedited, single-take performance. The audio you hear was a split of the stereo monitor feed in the room, and is unedited and unprocessed.

Massive thanks to the techno gods (and Strahil and Chris) for making this happen. We owe you one.

"This early SEM is good working condition. I have tested to ensure that VCO-1 and VCO-2 both work. But cv gate and trig inputs have not been tested. This early model labeled SEM-1 S/N 0039 does not have the LFO out, VC-A Ctrl, and LOW out jacks installed."

Ian Richter - Demonesque & Lavished

Ian Richter - Demonesque & Lavished from Nimrod Alexander Gershoni on Vimeo.

via Ian Richter:

"I recently performed a continuous 18-minute piece with my small eurorack modular system and a Korg MS2000, that moves from abstract soundscapes into more structured songs with vocals and then back again. Artist Nimrod Alexander Gershoni filmed the performance and then manipulated the video to create a dark psychedelic journey that doesn't quite fall into the 'music video' or 'live performance video' categories, but somewhere in between.

A Performance by Ian Richter at Hanut 31 Tel Aviv.
Song 1 Demonesque
Song 2 Lavished
As part of 'N-Armed Bandit' Exhibition closing event.
Video Production by Nimrod Alexander Gershoni.
July 2015.

Mutant Drums Controlled by Game System and Propagate

Published on Nov 3, 2015 Analogue Zone Showroom / Synths and Studio

"Analogue Zone presents - Mutant Drums Controlled by Game System and Propagate

A little drumbeat created by two modules: the Pittsbugrh Modular Game System and the Steady State Fate Propagate.
The Game System's Gate Out 3 triggers the Propagate from which different gate spacing and delay a non-linear sequence is being created.
Propagate Ch1 triggers the Hexinverter.net - Mutant Machine
Ch2 triggers the Mutant Clap
Ch4 triggers the Mutant Bass Drum
The Mutant Hihats are being triggered from two sources: #1 - The other gate outs of the Game System are triggering the Mutant Hihat and its Decay CV which results in random closed and open hihat sounds."
