The Qadrox SIAL is an effect synth bridging the gap between Qadrox L and Classic.

It is a two oscillator analog synth with eight step sequencer.

Comes with VCF and VCA per channel.

Finished in elegant black wood and a grip yellow knobs.

"Hi all ! I hope all of you had a great Christmas and NY.. I took some ' Youtube time' off, but I hope to bring you guys new music this year :)

Anyway, yesterday the mailman delivered this cool device at my doorstep so I immediately updated the firmware and used the Circuit editor to create some patches (preset phobia?) and made some raw tracks with it yesterday evening.

Nothing serious really.. So expect some mistakes as usual, but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway :)

I think Novation made a really nice groove box with this Circuit and I hope there will be a way to change/replace the pcm samples of this device in the future !! That would really be amazing :)

Hordijk Rungler part 1

"This begins a multi-part walk through of the Rob Hordijk Rungler. The most eloquent overview is by Rob himself here: [5th video here] I'm merely offering a free-flowing exploration of only two or three functions at per episode.
This module is the Swiss Army Knife of random/stable audio and CV outputs! This part focuses on Pulsed output both in the LFO and Audio ranges of A Sine Out and B Triangle Out. As you will see and hear just these two functions offer random and patterned pulses/triggers, quasi waveshaping, various forms of noise et al.

Streichfett string synth - first tests with Sequetron

"New toy from Santa (aka Liz) so first dabbles with Waldorf streichfett string synthesizer driven by Sequetron with a Korg microKORG as a MIDI source. Streichfett can be configured to split strings & solo sections across 2 adjacent MIDI channels so Sequetron channel switching used to record/loop/play each section as reqd.
This is not an in-depth demo of streichfett, but very impressed with limited use so far - both sections can play chords so no note-stealing when sequencing. Simple but clever user interface - no menus :) - with morphing controls encouraging you to twiddle; sounds are richer and have more bass than expected. Headphones or good speakers recommended, although my YouTube playback doesn't do it justice for some reason - maybe my low-res download speed?
MicroKORG only used as a MIDI keyboard, so tried a simple ledge resting across it to hold the screen & streichfett. Not very ergonomic unless you leant over it, so made a sloping version for later shots.

It can change a oscillator pitch smoothly, depending on the place which you press down. It was originally made as a kind of MOOG SYNTHESIZER's controller in late 60's. I made this following its example. And playing style is self-taught."
